Antics of the Cult of Christianity

Most likely im repeating myself again, but anyway ,over the years ive often sat in silence totally on my own (being that i have become a solitary type of human) contemplating why it might ever happen to be my Exclusive Brethren family might have come to have adopted such strange rigid heartless type beliefs.I often wondered why it might be they were never seen to change much with the times, in any great hurry, even though their faithful tarrying caused many folks so much pain and hardship.Tarrying that even came at the cost ! of suicide, for some who could bear the pain of the sadness no longer.

But these days now as an atheist, i feel more and more my eyes are opened to see this is not just a problem of the Exclusive Brethren alone .No far from it,i can now see this problem runs far deaper. The more i read and research situations around matters of faith , the more i become very aware that problems that exist among the Exclusive Brethren also exist elsewhere among other faith groups too.And being that the Exclusive Brethren are still a relatively new group, in my opinion i can only say i think it would be slightly unfair and a little unjust to judge their group as being to blame for certain traits they have adopted, when it’s so plain to see they are not those that created these traits in the first place.

The Exclusive Brethren are well-known for their exclusive attitudes, well-known for separation and bigotry by the practice of involvement in elevating themselves above others.

But this is deeply ingrained attitude of faith over all, it’s not some trait owned and perfected by the Exclusive Brethren group.

Take a look at this article for instance http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/christchurch/3977369/Non-Christian-volunteers-not-wanted-by-food-bank-organiser

What a bigoted attitude.Faithful exclusivism still thrives outside brethren circles, whether some other Christians like to admit it or not. Some stalk bird didn’t land on the roof of the Plymouth brethren many years ago and implant such nastiness in the head of John Nelson Darby http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Nelson_Darby

No John Nelson Darby was only harvesting that what had already been sown by others! ,by the bigoted exclusive attitude of Christianity.A bigoted attitude! long sown even in the original idea that supposedly only through Jesus could humans ever find salvation , an exclusive attitude that lay frothing and curdling like a type of cancerous scum , since day one . A  cancerous disastrous scum that has caused much trouble and pain ever since ! .

No the root of the trouble doesnt lay at the feet of the Exclusive Brethren group ,it lays fair and square! at the feet of the bigoted attitude of the ancient barbaric idea of religious faith itself.

I lays fair and square at the feet of the ancient bigots! who years ago dreamed up all their many faithful ideas of how they might think to try to judge and elevate themselves above others , instead of simply accepting humanity for its imperfections.

Those ancients they looked to find ways to rule and control ,and the Exclusive Brethren is simply another offshoot that refined ! and perfected the cult type manipulation and control tactics that those before them invented.

In the above article, Kerry Bensemann, a born-again Christian who runs the 0800 Hungry food bank, said the aim was to increase church involvement, and having the food delivered by non-religious volunteers would defeat the purpose

So what makes it so very different when a Exclusive Brethren group decides mixing with outsiders will defeat their purpose they feel they have?.

Bugger all !, the way i see it.

This person http://peebs.net/Community/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=12778 who posts seems so very concerned about Exclusive Brethren hypocrisy ,as im sure do many other wonderful “born again” ex Exclusive Brethren also .But i ask myself what about the hypocrisy of Christians chucking stones at one particular group, and bagging them for simply perfecting a cancerous scourge! that was first invented by the ancients of that what they themselves still promote.

I do agree the Exclusive Brethren are hypocrits to do what they do,but still they learned part of it elsewhere, faith groups have never been short of hypocrits. To me its a little like imperfect parents picking on and bashing certain children,  for being imperfect. Its kinda lots like that party game, called pass-the-parcel .And these faithful folk will keep the music rolling year in and year out ,dashing to grab a seat when ever the music stops .Hoping like hell their chosen church somehow comes up smelling like roses ! , when the honest truth is it’s really all rotten eggs when all said and done .

And what does it all achieve this singling out and stone throwing ?.

In my opinion all it creates is a type mentality of it being all about us against them .Exclusive Brethren verses Ex Exclusive Brethren ,adding fuel to the fire that it’s mostly only an attack by disgruntled ex members of their cult.

While this particular peeb net poster is so very concerned and vocal about the hypocrisy of the Exclusive Brethren .How much is this Christian concerned about all the hypocrisy that sees so very many other Christians being so extremely silent about this abusive cult that continues to freely wreck and ruin many people’s lives ? …Does this wonderful concerned ex eb christian ever stop to even wonder for a second or two, if it was actually the exclusive brethren who invented the laws that allow for these religious freedoms that see family able to legally be split and divided like they are ? .And if the exclusive brethren didn’t create these barbaric cancerous scummy laws in the first place, then isn’t it a bit rich ! and full of hypocrisy! if other christian start abusing the EB for simply exercising their rights that the ancient christian fore fathers set up to be used and abused ?.

These faithful people they read a book called the holy bible that has much human learned wisdom , one of those ancient learned wisdom’s being we sometimes reap that what we sow . Ancient folks of faith planted the seed of freedom of religious rights ! which the Exclusive Brethren have now harvested and used , and now these other faithful Gits ! all want to hold the exclusive brethren totally accountable for the trouble that evolved ?.

Like ive said in other posts ,neuroscience has now proved how devotion on charisma can be shown to shut down parts of the brain! that is usually used for scepticism and making decisions .Folks that get these parts of their brains damaged in accidents, cannot be trusted to make good decisions!.

Why then do i find im not so very surprised of the great ignorance that obviously exists like a bad smell around matters of faith.

Ok so the peeb net poster say the Exclusive Brethren are full of hypocrisy .Well what about the hypocrisy that exists around christian politicians who suggest the exclusive brethren are a dangerous cult that breaks up families ,but when in power they still do nothing about fixing anything http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nation/rudd-attacks-pm-over-cult-dealings/story-e6frg6nf-1111114243136

Mr/Mrs Peeb Net poster ,did you really only come down in the last shower of rain ? ,did you really think the Exclusive Brethren Christians have some sort of real special monopoly over the rights to use and impose good old school christian hypocrisy ?.Why is it not considdered a greater hypocrisy that other Christian groups including christian politicians , simply stand by in such silence! and do absolutely nothing! to help finally bring a end to this longstanding problem ?.

Devotion on all the Charisma ! seriously clouds the ability of thinking

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.

  1. In my opinion this is some of your best writing yet! Keep up the good work. Your message, and past experience, is highly important to show the actual present dangers with religion and especially blind faith.

Pious types could learn a thing or two from you.

Hey thanks Tristan. What i find extremely frustrating, is thinking about how to best go about clearly and properly explaining what im actually thinking about. Thinking about what actual wording i should be using, and how to form the right sentences so hopefully some other people can actually try and also clearly understand where im coming from.

But back then when i went to school, this cult we lived in still went to public schools, and naturally we offended other kids with all our brain-dead devoted faithful seperatist bigoted type ideas and atitudes, and view of supposedly being in some “exclusive club” even ! when still inrolled and involved in public schools and were learning in among heaps of other different types of kids.We had these special “religious right” rules jacked up! with the school headmasters and school boards, that allowed us cult kids special “religious rights” to not to need to be seen standing together with all the other kids in the morning assembly , because of the matter of being “unequally yoked” , and because we used the Darby bible version of holy babble, while the public school headmasters most often used to read from the King James version .So we stood apart from the assembly.Just outside the hall door while the others all sang God save the Queen, where we could actually still hear everything said and sung! and so it really actually made little ! difference at all, other than we were stading just outside the hall door, rather than standing right there beside all the other kids in the asembly And we even had all these extra silly cult requirements, such as to not to consume any of our food or drink while directly around other kids .Lots of silly shit such as not! joining any of the school sports teams , this was all thought as a “unequal yoke” !.

All faiths/group tyrannys, including ALL the different flavours of Christian sect/domination/cults, all have some amount of these same strange quirky odd behavior to some degree. Some more!, some maybe a bit! or even a lot less, but still they ALL do have “some” of this same weird “groupy” weird and whacky exclusive! quirky type attitude just the same .

Its fine if every human agrees to simply accept the human imperfections of all having a personality and own up to having quirky behavior , and learn to live together and get along . But its double extreme! quirky behavior! when somebody starts suggesting maybe some quirky behavior is just far too quirky and wont be tolerated.

So often i thought much more! about when the hell the time might finally arrive that id finally get to decide to leave school .Rather than thinking about listening and learning to any teachers who were trying to explain english and writing skill and spelling and grammer etc to me…. L.o.L

In the class rooms my mind was more often thinking Gawd ! dang its a real PR disaster!! , this trying to play the part of being a self elevated cult biggot in a PUBLIC school .I cant wait to leave this place of embarrasment.

I agree Tristan, i think maybe the “past experience” has taught me something , but still its just a problem not having enough skill and knowledge and understanding how to be clearly explaining it that i often find a little frustrating L.o.L .

Thats 😦 often when i tend to revert to the curses and swear words. To me its kinda lots like “my way” of speaking in tounges! and all become part of this particular natives language
