Religious do not have monopoly on virtue, Queen tells synod

People of faith do not have a monopoly on virtue as British society was now “more diverse and secular”, the Queen told the Church of England today in an address to its governing body.

Speaking at Church House, central London, she told members of General Synod that believers and atheists were equally able to contribute to the prosperity and wellbeing of the country.

The Queen, who is supreme governor of the Church of England, said: “In our more diverse and secular society, the place of religion has come to be a matter of lively discussion. It is rightly acknowledged that people of faith have no monopoly of virtue and that the wellbeing and prosperity of the nation depend on the contribution of individuals and groups of all faiths and none.”

Yeah funny that folks of faith sure as hell don’t ! have any monopoly on virtue .Certainly not when we have Popes trying to help Catholic priests to continue covering up mega sexual abuse , and many groups of christians world-wide still all sit quietly by warming pews and reciting faith meme`s and singing a few hymns , yet take absolutely no HONEST action ! at all to help stop the Exclusive and Renton brethren type groups , from continuing destroying many lives like they still do ! and have done for very many years now .

No i agree with the Queen …Faith groups have all done extremely well ! at proving they DEFINITELY don’t have any monopoly on MORAL virtue .Whats more it’s also even more likely , they never ever did honestly ever have any monopoly on moral virtue either . The idea that faith was linked to our morality and virtue , always was just a fake and more about the bigoted views and attitudes of people of faith shining through . The same bigoted faithful attitude that was then also passed on to faithful people like Bruce Hales and the exclusive brethren , when they dreamed of being “the” pure line “the” righteous people etc.

Yes there surely is a price to pay when folks of faith were ignorant enough to ever get involved in promoting such faithful bigotry like they have , and that price is now being paid by us ex members of the EB today, who all find ourselves living the life that we do . We pay this price for all those bigoted ignorant fools long dead and gone now , having died with their bigoted view that through their faith they hoped  it made them better than others .Folks who died thinking they deserved life eternal , even if it needed to cost some of  US  here in this life .

That is the price that must be paid for promotion of such practice of this selfish faithful fraudulent deceit . We ex members pay for the dreams of faith gamblers , all gambling on their hope of life eternal  . We know that gamblers are well-known! to not really be the kind to ever really give a damn ! about the lives of any others they may hurt !.

No a gamblers life is mostly only ever concerned about his/her own interests.

Hense why so many other Christian groups also quietly stand by quietly while the Exclusive and Renton continue doing what they do.So happens any faith abuse we Ex EBs deal with ,is still not hindering these other faithful folks own faithful interest …So thats all that really matters most to these faith gamblers

Gamblers are well-known to be very selfish types of people ,who most often only ever care about themselves. Sure they might try to put up a bit of a front (charity) to help make it look good like they honestly care , just like the Exclusive Brethren PR tactics also  do when making sure to try to be seen helping with charity in the fires in Australia .Or when EB business men make sure to try and get other local businessmen in their good books and on their side…..Besides all gamblers will try now and then to do certain special things for family members they hurt , just to try and make themselves hopefully look better ! and so hopefully also keep feeling better about themselves.

So should we really expect anything much different ? …Should we really expect promotion of this selfish faith called christianity ,would likely have produced Popes and priests ,and clergy and Bruce Hales and followers with loads of moral virtue ,who might care enough to also consider some others , other than themselves ? .

No not when faiths including the faith Christianity are built around beliefs of such selfishness ….Selfishness that promotes the faithful human to become gamblers fully ready to gamble with the lives of many others here on this earth , in hope of gaining a life eternal FOR THEMSELVES .

For this is a extremely selfish faith .A  extremely selfish ancient tradition.

Just take a look at the photo .

How many happy faces do you see here ? ….Can you HONESTLY say  the archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, looks like an extremely happy chappy , and very kind man ? . Do the rest of these people many of whom im picking are most likely faith believers , HONESTLY look like very friendly happy understanding and kind people.

Or do they look like very unhappy chappies who are inconsiderate selfish faith gamblers , peeved off a little ! about hearing some of the  HONEST truth for a change ,  rather like Bruce Hales and his unfriendly faithful followers often also react . Or maybe some Rentons , a little peeved that somebody would even dare ! call them out !

Those pesky damn Atheists , how dare they be calling our bluff !

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Much wisdom still exists within these holy books . This is because wisdom is learned by human experience that helps to educate people . And experience is gained over time , and so by the time these holy books were written humans had already been living for thousands of years. Gaining much experience and wisdom in the process.

So i do still agree with this wisdom : Ye shall know them by their fruits

And so it seems the fruits of these people of faith who seek life eternal  …… is built entirely around ……. Selfishness

Their faith is centred almost entirely around hopes of gaining eternal life for themselves.

Hense why we see they have produced the thorns and thistles

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
