You get what you give, whether it’s bad or good

I’m a true believer in karma. You get what you give, whether it’s bad or good. :Sandra Bullock

Cant say im really so much of a great believer in things like Karma anymore, and i do have my own reasons for not really believing so much in it anymore too. However seems like its much the same type idea as that bible verse that talks about : You reap what you Sow.

I suppose it depends a whole lot as to what context this thought is being used. Like surely nobody really thinks ? some kid who ends up as a crippled , reaped that what he/she had sown . Neither does mothers and fathers who’s children sadly end up being killed in a road accident need to have done anything bad to deserve such things ,that their children would end up being hurt badly or even end up dead.

Yet on another different level it seems it’s often quite true, we may indeed tend to reap what has been sown. And sure sometimes we may tend to bring things on ourselves ,other times its more of a collective type effort being sown by many humans as a species. Like with this situation that now exists within the group known as the Brethren. Sure certain Plymouth brethren were indeed the people who “chose” to head down that track, that led them toward whom they have now become today .Abusing people through faith. But then what about everyone else in the world, who also just all stood by quietly generation after generation ? , watching and allowing it to simply just carry on happening ? . There is that quote that says : it takes two to tango right?.

We stand by all too often in silence ,almost as if thinking by our silience and lack of action ,we might some how be able to remain as those “people” who are not to be thought guilty of anything at all .

But what kind of intelligence and good logic is this ?

But hey tonight im not interested in my problems ,or exclusive brethren problems either. For tonight im far more interested in putting a shout-out for another fellow human being, who is going through tough times. And people in tough times ,will also have a very hard job trying to help others . Even if they might really want to

This person never asked me for nothing at all. This person hasn’t even made any contact at all with me . Other than clicking a button to be following my angry little blog. Not quite sure ? why they might even follow my blog either , maybe because they just had a wee bit of a real crazy mad-moment or two ? or something.

Anyway ,seem this person is another Christian . And really that’s still just fine and quite ok by me too. Sure i do admit ,im not really one to even feel that promotion of faith is really such a good idea anymore.Being honest . But i still don’t see need that faithful folk need become like any type of real enemy of mine either , and i understand how “faith” still helps make certain people happy.

For indeed its really only all the ongoing faith abuses that i really dislike so very much, and i will indeed also still continue to do my bit to just keep on fighting against it too. Until they cease with it, or else until the day i die, and thus would also cease to be able to even continue to fight it .

But tonight this is just a shout-out for another human being living on the other side of the world, dealing with some tough cards dealt him via living life within this often rather crazy world we all live in. Somebody whom i cant help feeling could also become of far more benefit to us all , with just a little more help and understanding .

Sadly it seems we live in a world, where too often we would decide to focus so very much, on handing out as “many” punishments as possible . We get so caught up in taking vengence , that we thus way also tend to forget all about all the long-term cost of such over-kill practices . And thus way we would also end up doing so much even longer term harm to ourselves and our children and then their children also, at the very same time. Who will thus way also end up reaping that what has been sown by others , and then also must all try and help pay all of the ongoing rising costs of it.

How very smart and intelligent ? is that blind type thinking  . Are we often really far too stupid or what ?

Sometimes almost seem like we try and send as many people as possible to jails , and then in some countries such people can also become marked for life ,and thus find themselves also unable to find employment.  Often only serving to help propagate and support a very vicious circle in the process . As some parents without work, then will always also struggle from then on, to try making ends meet. Thus lacking ability to even take good care of introducing their own offspring to any better ways of living either. And that is indeed some form of very great ignorance.

So in this context ,yes indeed i do tend to believe in a type of thing called Karma. Indeed its very true that thus way we do all end reaping of that what has been sown in a general sense. And if there will be any long term hope for us ,it is surely something we must try doing what ever we can to try help changing.

I could have gone over to this persons blog, and joined with the rest of que offering their words of support etc. Then some might have followed the trail back over here to my angry blog, and like some others seem to do, only tended to become angry themselves, at seeing this blog run by an angry atheist. Daring to speak his mind

So i decided, instead why don’t i just put a shout-out over here on my blog ,for a fellow human being in need, that indeed i really feel could become a real extra benefit to society once again ,with just a little wee bit of help from some friendly kind people who care about it.

So please do use a little time to go and take a look at his blog here called Soulblindministry I feel its a good read ,and is worthwhile.

This person is no slouch ,and not looking for hand outs , but rather just needs a little hand-up from a few kind and understanding people who care and might even be able to offer him a “little” help in some way. No matter what way that may even be.

For when i were once a believer they told me. That evidently, you’ll also reap some of that whats been sown by us .

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.

  1. Bless you 🙂
You just did more than most… The spirit of compasion still lives in you, AND THAT is all this life is about. Not churches and prayers, not tired cliches; but real acts of real remission and kindness of our individual soul, that extends out beyond ourselves. Because in giving, we don’t lose a part of ourselves, but rather find something that was missing. And we can’t fill emptiness with empty things… and like what you called Karma, it is the reaping not of material things, but filling a void in yourself, and also society. It’s a ripple effect that spreads, in subtle ways, across a sea of dry and thirsty souls with a pure refreshing spirit of love that, over time finds its way back to you. Because when you filter the water around you from bitterness, it becomes sweet enough to drink.

It’s not a religious thing, it’s just plain good sense. 🙂

    Thanks for the post
