The road to hell is paved with good intentions

I’d say most likely its true , that this was the original intention . Faithful folk intended to bring hope. And in some cases they have , specially after harnessing the “subservient” nature of “faithful” followers, which then also enabled them to mobilize huge amounts of charity funds.

Religion’s biggest trump card has often been its amazing ability to create a very subservient culture . And even early governments also saw this as a real bonus in aiding their own ability in gaining ultimate control over humanity at large. Which is partly why someone like Constantine the Great would have gladly supported it.

Even to this very day we still see how the powers that be ,will like to be seen to cozy-up to religion. There is a number of high-ranking human-beings within society, who really are not so much faithful believers of God. Yet they still support God-belief ,id say, due to them liking religions ability to create a very subservient culture.

Take this here for just one instance.

Quote :

“Although John Key is not a regular churchgoer, he led up the party who drove very slowly up the hill in the Range Rovers and made his entrance in front of a crowd of wellwishers.” http://tvnz.co.nz/politics-news/key-attends-church-service-royals-5588911

End quote (my bold added)

People who crave power and intend to dominate humanity. Will naturally tend to also enjoy religion as a great bedfellow.

These days even modern science is now able to see and measure the full effect of this kind of phenomena . See below

Quote :

“WHEN we fall under the spell of a charismatic figure, areas of the brain responsible for scepticism and vigilance become less active. “http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20627574.200-brain-shuts-off-in-response-to-healers-prayer.html

End quote (my bold added)

There may be some benefits of having a subservient culture But sadly there is also some very severe drawbacks and disadvantages that also go hand in hand with creation/promotion of subservient culture.

The brains of people contained within subservient human culture’s, are continually trained to allow the powers that be,to hold the power to do most of the thinking for them. In effect the subservient mind often allows itself to go into a state of slumber-some hibernation . Kind of much like the brain of a brown bear that goes to sleep during winter.

Human cultures contained within this kind of trance like state. Can then be easily led to agree to allow anything . Even so far as to willingly allow what the German culture had once allowed, Adolf Hitler to do to Jews.

Even so far as to all willingly go along with the throng who had allowed George Bush, and others, to invade countries alleged to have weapons of mass destruction. When countries had no weapons of mass destruction. Even so far as Exclusive Brethren cult members faithful decision to blindly follow ideals of a drunken leader named James Taylor jr

See here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Taylor,_Jr._(Exclusive_Brethren)

Fact is . In the long run. Creation of a subservient human culture  also creates in itself, far more problems, than it ever creates benefits

However religious folk will naturally want to hold onto numbers of Church going God believers. For one thing, this has been the traditional way they could claim how God-belief was the ultimate driving force behind human acts of charity. Therefore a number of these folk will also have a burning need to try to remain at the forefront of continued promotion of the subservient human nature. We even see how powers that be,within realm of church folk, liked to promote nature of subservient humanity, in the way they traditionally delegated the women to agree to adopt the lesser role within church practices.

The whole structure of organized religion, including the organized nature of Christian churches as well , is structured to help create a very subservient human culture.

In my opinion. Churches are to human beings, kind of like what a dairy shed is to a herd of cows. They are buildings developed that enable ability of groups of beings to be all rounded up and herded into one place, at one time ,where they can then be more easily manipulated and milked.

Dairy group

Over on wikipeedia i often read ex eb members comment’s, remarking on how they feel like the Exclusive Brethren cult, is just so very “unchristian”.

I understand why some ex members of an abusive cult might like the idea, that mainstream Christianity, might follow something extremely different.

But i personally don’t see how this wishful thinking, can be proved correct.

For one thing these ex members of the exclusive brethren cant figure out how member’s of the exclusive brethren can seem to have evolved the ability, to blindly let generations pass , within faith abuse that allowed families to remain shunned and separated .

Its like these ex exclusive brethren members brains, are lulled into faithfully believing, that just maybe all the mainstream churches, might have been at the forefront of getting personally involved in caring to take part in actually doing something active about helping fix the problem.

Yet the fact that cults have room to exist. Prove’s how mainstream churches have obviously helped sanction it

I mean if mainstream Christians didn’t care to take action, generation after generation. Then what kind ? of person would be led to have such high expectation, of these Exclusive Brethren cult members actions.

The charisma of religious faith has a mind-numbing effect on humanity. It acts like a brain lozenge designed to soothe the human mind into finding a place relaxation and recreation within a state of mindlessness. Thus why followers of all religious beliefs can all claim to have found a sense of peace , within their chosen flavor of faith.

Even the Taliban bomber can claim to have found a sense of peace

So many human find how they really enjoy soothing-feeling’s of  being able to find a form of solace within the state of being sheeple

Quote :

“The study showed that it takes a minority of just five percent to influence a crowd’s direction – and that the other 95 percent follow without even realizing what is going on.” http://www.naturalnews.com/034676_sheeple_study_psychology.html

End quote

Because it’s far easier physically for humans to agree to allow the brain to enter into a state of hibernation. Isn’t it. After all, most children are also constantly more or less being taught to culturally learn how to follow this state of living ,since early childhood anyways.

We teach them how to adopt sheeple-like practices . Then if they happen to get in with a bad-crowd of human-sheep. Say (for instance) a group involved in theft or speeding in cars . Us adults decide its best to get angry . And try blaming our children

Highly intelligent species we human’s like to think we are

The exclusive brethren have evolved within a society that has contained so many groups of religious folk, all traditionally involved in the art of splitting and dividing and shunning others around them. Leading to the existence of  of approximately 41,000 Christian domination’s/groups worldwide.

Yet acting like thoughtful adults.A group of Ex Exclusive Brethren members, like to decide that some how the Exclusive brethren members, are obviously those to be held at fault here, in regards of the existence of this shunning and separation of family members.

And if we didn’t have laws of speed regulation ,within our road codes . That are there to help create limits, and regulate and remind people about safe road speed . I’m sure there would also still be some people around, whom would still prefer to try blaming it all on action of those few boy-racers. Because its easier isn’t it . As it enables certain people, to find an easy-way out, to pass-the-buck on (to blame everything on someone else)

So much easier that accepting everyone’s partly to blame

Theists claim they understand how the humanity is imperfect. Yet when they try hanging onto silly freedom of religion laws (that in effect have actually helped create and continually allowed, these forms religious tyranny). These faithful folks minds (having been lulled into hibernation) cant seem to see any good reason why religion should need to be limited/regulated

Go figure !

Instead ,seems they far prefer to bleat in anger at a rag-tag bunch of a few religious folk, who’s minds have been contained their whole life, within realm of a cult.

As if they would expect these peoples brains to awaken enough, to be able to have led the way forward.

If the Exclusive brethren were the ultimate problem . Then if the Exclusive Brethren cult suddenly ceased to exist . Then we should then see that no more faith abuses, would exist that could produce shunning and separation between family.

But this wont happen .Even should the Exclusive Brethren cult cease to exist. Faith abuses would continue to exist elsewhere. There will still be many other ongoing faith abuses existing http://www.cults.co.nz/ that will continue to cause shunning and excommunication and separation between family

But the faithful church-mind doesn’t seem to enjoy, even entertaining the idea, of all religions needing to accept part responsibility.

Not so-unlike the Exclusive Brethren . Many ex Exclusive Brethren church-goers also far prefer to hang-onto the idea of involvement among the righteous .

Thus they shun the idea that mainstream churches may have played any part at all, in this ultimate outcome of the continued existence of cults, and shunning and separation of family members

Its true. That faithful folk might have had good intentions , in creating religion and churches and suchlike . But as the saying goes. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Jesus had an active mind, and wasn’t the type, to agree to go along with the idea of dividing humanity. He preferred to allow humans to retain the right to think for themselves.

He preferred to build bridges to help people move freely among each other.

Rather than build church buildings that then helped create, and house, forms of separation and bigotry.

Church building, sets-up the sort of situation that in turn promotes and allows separation and division to unfold.Simply because. As soon as society at large becomes a place that isn’t looked upon, as being good enough for human congregation’s to reside.

Soon enough the seed of division and bigotry is already been sown.

I’d say. Jesus didn’t see need for humanity to be herded in Church-milking-sheds ,like animals. Because he saw how humanity naturally had great potential to personallychoose for itself ,to connect to traits of empathy. In the knowledge that by adopting the trait of empathy, within the ongoing evolution of human beings lifestyle.  Humans also could hope to provide ways to make the human race as a whole, far stronger and more resilient to ongoing hardship’s.

Besides. Finding these ways of building church buildings, to help force charity upon humanity. Has also helped pave the way to house false prophets and wolves in sheep’s clothing

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
