Theist infused Ignorance

For instance.Take this situation that Laurie reports here on his blog http://laurencemoffitt.blogspot.co.nz/2014/04/another-gullible-parliamentarian-who.html

1.The Exclusive Brethren have caused much harm to many ex members.Just like a number of harmful theist groups, also often do

2. But certain groups.Like the group run by Lord McColl of Dulwich CBE . And others like that. Can still see how they can glean some kind of benefit, for themselves. From the exclusive brethren’s existence.

Humanity (society) willfully also turns a blind eye to the ongoing harm being caused to some people (ex members of cults). Deciding that the gains they can glean for themselves (the groups concerned like Lord McColl of Dulwich CBE group for one instance ), must somehow offset the sort of harm being caused to a few other folk (ex members of harmful cults)

3. Folks become involved in riots http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_England_riots . Quite likely, even theist sit like a bunch of stunned-mullet, on their church pews. Busily scratching their wee heads. Pondering why it might be, that nobody seems to even give a damn anymore. About the lives, and property, of other people living around them.

Its ? due to devilish evil of the world right. It’s? because too many folks have stopped going to church

No

It’s because. Even the Christian Church. Has long been such an extremely bad example. Such an utter disgrace

Why? expect that  the youth might think to care more, about the lives of some other people living around them.

When obviously . Many adults don’t even think to care anymore . And even far worse, neither does the Christian church, and many church folk either

Only zombie brain-dead folk? , sitting warming church pews.Would be silly enough, to really expect so much more of society. When they can’t even be seen to lead by good example, themselves

When? will these morons wake-up

You can’t allow religion to retain the right to cause people harm. And yet, still expect, that by some strange miracle, somehow society will still be so likely, to have evolved youth, that will have learned how to think to care about others, living around them

Only copious amounts of blind-faith , would care to consider that such things might happen

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
