Forked Tongue

Within cult circles.Speaking with a forked tongue ( IE: telling tales secretly, with intent to mislead or deceive) is not something entirely uncommon.Full details of these tales are needed to be edited to suit, and shared secretly, behind the scenes. Because sometimes the agenda can maybe also have something a little to do with character assassination. And so to choose to discuss the tales openly, and publicly, and/or to make sure that full details of both sides of the experience, is also being shared. May not tend to suit the agenda

Kind of ironic too, that such things would sometimes happen, among groups of people, striving to lay claim to the status of holding fast to “real” Christian values

I found out about some stuff that was quietly being shared secretly about me.A number of times.First it made me feel very angry. Then later on, i felt some pity for the persons involved. So much so, that i just didn’t bother to blow their cover. For some also seem to be people whom really crave fame

Whenever i discuss stuff about eb /ex eb experiences.I try to remember to also point out, that the person i’m sharing experiences with, is quite welcome to also make further inquires ,so as to try to double-check the full details.

Situations i experienced, i only found out , when someone else had came to me, and told me how they had “quietly” heard, that someone else was actively involved in secretly making accusations about me.

Cult circles can sometimes be “real clicky” situations. And it doesn’t necessarily always stop and change, when people simply leave the cult either.

The Christians , with the “real” Christian values . Will actively warm their church pews, while steadfastly reading scriptures, such as Deuteronomy 19:16-2 .Or perhaps 1 Peter 4:17. And so on

Who knows why they remain so steadfast in one manner. While not so much so in another manner. They may seem to remain very steadfast in their ongoing view as well too, that us atheist, surely do remain in very grave danger, should we dare choose to follow a different path

They may publicly claim that we made certain claims , that we may never have actually even made. That can then be followed up with demands, for us to just leave their company, and go away elsewhere.Often mostly due to someone simply daring to be heard to hold a difference of opinion.A different opinion, that may not have even been thought through, so thoroughly

The exclusive brethren cannot understand why we may be glad to be counted among “the outsiders”.They don’t seem to read scripture where Jesus seem to be quite thankful himself, to be counted among the outsiders too.Yet very sadly today, we are forced to need to exist within a world full of so many schisms.Yet expectations remain, that we would necessarily also want to join up with ways,in which we feel, may help carry this kind of situation on further forward

But oh well. Never mind. It’s really not worthwhile to need to get angry over it.

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
