says quote: ” No true Christian would find this behaviour acceptable”

“These people are a stench in the nostrils to all true followers of Christ.”

If no true Christian would find this acceptable. Then how come? its been able to continually happen this way, for generations

Laurie runs his blog, as a blog this is tolerant to free speech.Which is the way it ought to be.And all kudos to Laurie for that

Yet it’s not easy ,for anyone to dare go there, to question this comment. Because theism in general, is often pretty intolerant to free speech , or freedom of belief. That we often become wary of daring to be too upfront and bluntly honest about matters.

Many church folk really don’t enjoy to even hear alternative opinions being voiced.

This person obviously don’t like to hear, anything being said, that they don’t like hearing.

And this person even still believes , that nobody-else can say that they will know anything about him/her.This person has (publicly) shown them-self, to obviously be somewhat intolerant of hearing different opinions. Yet they must still figure?, this attitude of theirs, some-how,will have been able to go by totally unnoticed.

Funnily enough ,the eb, also seem to believe, that they too can find a way to go-unnoticed , so as to fly completely beneath the radar too. That is how deluded , some of these folk really are. They think we cant see through them.

ostrich

But anyway , Larry thinks that “No true Christian would find this behaviour acceptable”

How the hell does Larry explain?, that these things have been allowed to happen , for way longer that gay marriages have even been allowed to happen. For way longer, than abortions have even finally been made legal. For way longer than euthanasia, which still hasn’t even been allowed as yet

Larry needs to understand that if Christians hadn’t liked these things happening (division of family by religion). Then you can bet you bottom dollar , we sure should have seen many more Christians, getting busy publicly speaking out against it. Like we often have in regards to other things like, gay marriage, abortion ,euthanasia.

But we haven’t ever seen much of that happening Larry

Whole generations have come and gone.Yet these faith abuses have been allowed to continue.

Obviously by true Christians too Larry (unless there isn’t many true Christian around)

Someone like myself , would like to feel free (freedom of speech) , to go put this question , to these people, over there on Laurie blog . But theists in general, are often so intolerant of allowing freedom of speech , that we really don’t want to upset them

And of course , this is also the very reason why these sort of situations have continued for as long as they have done too . Because we just dont feel that these theist wish to adopt freedom of speech. They don’t like to hear our alternative opinions

Awhile ago (a few generations ago. And atheist might even be killed of heresy, had they dare offer their alternative opinion

Thus we know , how theism has been highly intolerant of freedom of speech. A curse of which still clings-on ,like a cancer

Why do they suppose? that their church has now gotten itself into such a sad  situation where by , nowadays so many humans , worldwide, have grown to so-dislike the church , and Christianity

Because ? theists have promoted freedom of speech

No

Because theists are idiots , whom (in general) have always preferred to oppose freedom of speech

Whats more these fools, are also unlikely to begin to learn from it , maybe until their faith has nearly almost been completely wiped off the face of this earth

That’s how slow these folk are to learn

And yet , most likely, many of them will like to try and blame us atheists, for that happening. Because theists don’t have good track records, for admitting to their mistakes

These folk ,would like to have people like me , become believers of God

But what good reason ? is there to believe in God , when we can plainly see how God-followers , seem to often act like such ignorant fools.

And these folk would even have us believe that human intelligence comes from God

We wonder , if this is so , then how come? the God-followers , seem to be the people ? whom seem so very slow to learn . The ones that often cannot seem to put “two and two” together

Larry thinks …” No true Christian would find this behaviour acceptable”

Then who the hell found it acceptable then Larry . The atheists ?

Our countries have been run by Christian majorities Larry . Our countries have their “true Christian” foundations

“True” Christians Larry

And they obviously found it acceptable . Otherwise they might have spoken out against allowing it to happen

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
