The Truth Of Matters Really Need Not Matter So Much, Evidently

Folks on Wikipeebia are busy with discussing some important questions . See here It concerns the matter of inerrancy. Like what can be considered to be actually true. What is factual   But some folk there don’t seem to think this really matters all that much.

Posted: Sat Jul 25, 2015 11:31 pm  “Obviously I have no answers to any of these questions, nor do I particularly need to,my faith isn’t dependent on that.”

And

“I just believe it”

Trouble is , many Exclusive Brethren members may also use the same tactic and take the same kind of approach too   So why? would we expect anything more of them exclusive brethren folk then, than what some of us ex Exclusive Brethren would seem to think is quite ok for ourselves

Because, just maybe exclusive brethren don’t bother dwelling too much on trying to figure out the finer points either.

Maybe? much like Fisherman says how he does, they (the brethren) will also ” just believe it” all too. And even? when it concerns some important matters about whether their group is a cult as well. They will have been told that they are not , therefore they may also  “just believe it“, in much the same way that Fisherman also says how he does too

Its far easier? right. Less energy wasted on thinking in any great depth. Less? feelings of fatigue too.Much more peaceful bliss as well to boot. Nothing so much to fret over, or need to be worrying about “real facts”

How important? is the truth after all , when one can just as easily always choose to just simply grasp onto these forms of faith

When will these folks learn that the exclusive brethren , are only “an extension“, of much of what were already existing elsewhere among people of faith anyway. The long-tradition among so many groups of believers has always been dealt with a lot like this ->

Quote Fisherman:”Obviously I have no answers to any of these questions, nor do I particularly need to,my faith isn’t dependent on that.”

And so the exclusive brethren too, are quite comfortable to also tend to see matters that way as well. And yes even when being asked “questions”in regards to if their group is possibly a cult So then, how? can Fisherman expect any better of them exclusive brethren folk. When he don’t even care to be bothered to hold himself to the same

Fisherman also says ” in the end, there will be a summing up of each of our lives”

Maybe? he figure that this would somehow still be real justice being served by God. Even though in this very same thread, there on wikipeebia ,those folks there are just busy with discussing in regards to just how much errency there really obviously is

So evidently, it’s considered righteous, that some humans would be punished on judgement day, for daring to choose to not believe what to them had seemed to be full of errant or non-factual suggestions to them. Let us try to imagine, if there was some government somewhere, whom had ran their road codes with ideas that were obviously contradicting ,and were even laced with matters as well that seemed somewhat non-factual too. Whom would then still see it as being totally righteous of themselves, to still want to punish anyone whom dared to just disregard their contradicting road rules

Still sound’s? mighty likely to some folk, i guess.   Yes, perhaps? if ones God were  developed among humans, of whom had often acted far more like they were real great-mates with some Kim Jung-un type folk . Then anything is considered as justice, and likewise simply because the “top dog” had said it were to be so

How utterly crazy that these faithful folk would even still believe it might actually be “righteous” that it would happen that way. It seems about as crazy as what it also is, that the exclusive brethren would still be inclined to see themselves as acting like good folk should   Both parties are spawned within some of the same type of bent and twisted ideas. Both parties also still seem to fail, to even understand what real justice is about

149-homer-facepalm   Unbelievable   And so sad too

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
