Before the big bang

Quote: Tue Aug 04, 2015 2:25 am “It defies any logic, scientific or otherwise that everything we see around us came from …nothing, absolutely nothing, zero, and without any catalyst,or force, everything we see somehow ‘evolved’ from nothing…but add a supreme being to it,’In the beginning,God created’ and yes,it DOES make sense.” see here

But who? is it, that even actually says, that they might know for sure what “came before” the big bang. The scientists?.The laymen ?.The Church folk?.Some sort of ignorance?

1.If so far,we can only see back as far ,as moments “after”, the big bang. Then how? the heck does anyone? even have ability to know, what might have came “before the big bang”

2.And if we say we can’t yet see what was before the big bang. Then we also need to ask, who would even have ability to know?,if indeed there was actually “nothing” before the big bang

We don’t know what there was before the big bang.

The word “nothing” can soon be construed to mean something totally different,to what the original person speaking about it had actually meant it to mean.Pretty soon people are busily accusing someone, of saying something that they hadn’t even meant to say.

Evidently some church folk feel, that someone knowledgeable had surely said these things. And evidently they also even said that they already know the universe came from “nothing” too . But how could they know? there was nothing. Do church folk ever show us any of this evidence telling what was before? (without pointing to a bible)

Nope.Seems they saying someone else has. Maybe some priest they had met had told them, how someone had. (A bit like adult exclusive brethren will tell their youth today, that Jim Taylor was a pure man, and so then the brethren youth just don’t even bother, to go double-check)

However, perhaps the words that were chosen,by the person that were trying to relay-information, can also become misunderstood.Words construed. Some people may take people’s words, for the  wrong “meaning”.While perhaps some other’s, may even then “purposely choose” to try to “manipulate” what was actually being said too.And so on

Below is a video, i just found online, that tries to help explain these things, in “simpler” ways so we folk can try to understand. Its not the only one available online either. But at first glance,to me,it seems it might be quite worthwhile watching.

Specially in regards to the important matter of before, and after, the big bang

Another interesting article on this same issue, is written by Paul Davies ,see here . Paul Davies, is someone whom remain somewhat skeptical, of certain things, on either side of the debate. He is someone whom feels he is most interested, in learning what can actually be considered as being “fact”. Because facts do matter. Or otherwise it can cause harm.

Maybe? he is just someone, whom doesn’t want to be remembered within our history books in future. As being someone else whom had just “jumped the gun” in jumping to quick conclusions, that may not yet be evidence based.

What? if believers have “jumped the gun” and came to some wrong conclusion. Will? that then be how they may become remembered sometime soon within our history books, in future times. Will? they own the harm they caused and quickly apologize, or will they act like the exclusive brethren are acting today, and try and point to good they had done, to try and make this good ,to help wash away all the harm

Sometimes facts are very important. And im willing to wager , “a-God”?, might even be likely to agree with Paul Davies too, in this regards.

Quote Tue Aug 04, 2015 2:25 am : “This spring I observed a covey of quail in my garden, the chicks can fly the day they are hatched, but cannot stear because they gave no feathers, just fluff. The hen gives one call, and the chicks remain totally still in the grass, you can almost step on them….but one diferent call, and the covey explodes in the air….who taught them that? I was in Maui this last winter and one species of terns that winter there, flys to the Arctic where they best and raise their the fall, the adults return to Maui….but the hatchlings, that have never been to Maui ..leave about 3 weeks later and fly to Maui….How do they know where to go?The monarch butterfly’s that arrive in the Pacific North West are the FIFTH generation that left Mexico, migrating North, but in the fall, the butterfly return not just to Mexico, but to the SAME bush their ancestors hatched out of….How do they do that?….the salmon that I catch were hatched in a stream and four years later, return not to just the same river, but the exact same branch and rivulet that their ancestor laid their eggs and died.”

These things are truly amazing. And hard as hell to even begin to understand too.And yet once again the same rule must? apply.Facts are important

If it’s a fact that bee’s can tell some other bees, where-about all the good pollen and nectar is. Would it? be totally out of the question, that birds might perhaps  have “some way” to also”relay” to their young in regard to what direction they will need to head

What? about epigenetics, or something like that. Might that kind of thing help produce an innate instinct of some kind

We might not know yet. However, again, why? would we “jump the gun” and be quick to say, that we knew it was due to God. Set? ourselves up for a fall ,when later found out to have been wrong

These questions that are posed. Were so interesting. I then thought to take more interest. So glad i did. Only wish that there was also an internet available, back when i were young

I found out that some folk have claimed that those salmon are using the magnetic field as a tool. See here

I found some interesting articles on birds . Here . Here .

And one that claimed babies will learn to babble, like birds will learn to sing. See here

We human have no way in which to actually become ourselves-like, what we can only see and experience as being all “those” animals, insects and birds, and so on out there . That we then also find it hard to imagine , that we might not always be all so very different after all

We humans are able to talk with each other,so then we can discuss with each other about how we go about achieving the things we do.And this helps make us feel special. But we cannot discuss that stuff, with all these other beings

Seems to me, that this then makes us human, feel alien among all them other beings. And yet we don’t know how different we are

This is why science is the tool being used to help us try to learn more.

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
