Intolerance is something intrinsically inherant within religion

To me.It seems to me that there is a certain trait of intolerance, that seems almost intrinsically inherent, and thus explaining why it may also tend to remain constantly prevalent within religion

Just for a start. We consider this thought

1 There would seem to be an “inherent intolerance”just even contained within the mere-thought in itself, for anyone of us to ever think that no man/women, could ever be thought as being “totally complete” or “good enough” etc etc, unless that women/man were to also agree to become a religious believing person. IE : become a believer and not be a non-believer

Thing is. If religion was ever so honestly anything really about “promoting a tolerance” among all humanity. And were anything about us humans way of all learning how to all-try to become more accepting/tolerant of all “others/everyone else”

Then why would anyone religious? ever be even bothered, with any idea of creating these “human divisions” and walls that have been built-up between all us people ,as within all the church-halls and/or any of the other type faith-premises as well too

So i make the suggestion. That region carries-along with it, a certain trait of intolerance, a trait that is constantly inherent within these religious-based societies

I also would suggest, that it is this that then also what helps to spark-up the fire of human disharmony, and extremism . And thus it is what helps to cause some people to want to try to censor and control “some others” whom co-exist around about them

And i suggest that there is endless amount of information and evidence suggesting that religion-based groups are all inclined (to some degree) toward “control” and “censorship” of certain types of ideas, and/or availability of free-information

Time and time again. I am always constantly seeing these theist-based groups, that are also very much inclined to want to censor “certain type of ideas”, and so will thus also feel the need to want to try to take control of “freedom of discussion”

For instance .Compare some of these few situations that follow. As evidence of what im suggesting here

1.There is a theist-based site that is named “Evolution news and views”.You can  see it here  http://www.evolutionnews.org/  . From time to time they will write an article, like this one

quote :

“So,Michael Behe was right after all;what will the critics say now”

end quote. see here http://www.evolutionnews.org/2014/07/so_michael_behe087901.html

Problem is. They don’t allow that their internet site, to also allow the  ability, that any of these other critics might then also be able to use themselves. So as to then be able to directly post any of their own comments, in regard to discussing and/or “critiquing” this issue that they (“Evolution news and views”) have raised within this article, as to whether this guy Behe, was indeed right or? wrong .

How can critics critque these articles that “Evolution news and views” is writing. Unless? they are able to comment

Therefore they are censoring the freedom of speech , and are also limiting availability of a-certain side of information ,to any of their blog-followers whom are involved in reading any of their articles .And in this way their readers are only able to read a very one-sided source of information, that is thus way being tainted by bias (lets face it ,”Evolution news and views” followers wont be that much more likely to go searching for comments from critics, that what exclusive brethren followers are likely to ever really bother with doing either. (Because peoples faith, is generally been founded on faith anyway. Most instances it is the parent that then subject their children to faith beliefs pre-chosen by the parent ,and it is generally then also the choice of faith of the parent, that all of these children will all end up adopting as being their-own religion too. And it is interesting to note, that this kind of phenomena, is in fact an international-phenomena ) .Children are indoctrinated, after becoming fear-stricken as very young children, via the faith beliefs that are chosen to be introduced by their parents.Because peoples faith also tends to become “imprinted” within human thoughts and fears, and it happen in very much the same way as most any other human-phobia will also do

2 Then there are the non-theist based type sites. Such as this here blog that is named sandwalk http://sandwalk.blogspot.co.nz/ . And most non-theist based sites like this one, will all agree to freely allow ability for any of their own critic’s, to also be able to participate directly within discussions on any article that they are writing about . Thus there is freedom of speech

And in general terms . This is a very similar constantly typical type situation, of these two type of opposite differences that can be constantly seen happening, time and time over and over again and again.Whenever im comparing the theist verses any of the non-theist internet sites IE : that the theists type groups will be inclined to censor and take control , while the non-theist groups will be far more likely to want to just allow the freedom for anyone to decide that they might want to take part and make comment -> “directly”

If the theists are so convinced of their own beliefs. Then why? the hell would they ever need to be feeling this need, for themselves to be able to censor and take control of incoming/outgoing information

What? kind of confidence is this. Is it one? that need to rely on hiding behind censorship and an ability to keep all it own follows ignorant of any-other critical type opinions

Sure looks that way (to me). This trait sure seems to be a fairly constant trait that can most often always be observed among theist groups

And like i also had previously tried to explain. Seems to me, that there is indeed some type of intolerance existing within religion, that is intrinsically inherent to religion in general. An intolerant spark that is ignited in the very instance that any form of religious belief has been spawned that is based on the thought that humans in general,  cannot ever be thought “complete” or “good enough”. Unless they were to also agree to join-up with some psrticular religiously/biased based group . The moment that religious groups are spawned, is then the very same moment as well too, that mere-man/woman is then at that stage also being pre-judged, as being “less” and as “incomplete”, if indeed anyone were found to be “an-outsider”

Or consider the ex exclusive brethren internet sites. The old “peeb net” site.Or even the “friends alive” site. Or perhaps even the wikipeebia site too . All of these sites are of some interest to both the believer/Christian, and even the non-believer as well too .Humans are human ,and so quite naturally there should also be some different-opinions, that are constantly being aired.”Freely”. And yet in each and everyone of these internet sites ive mentioned, we can also constantly see “friction” over “freedom of opinion” and thus also some constant instances where by there are certain people, also participating, whom are also interested in trying to censor/control what someone else may like to have to say (Note to the reader :and lets not forget this fact either, that this situation is happening among a group of people whom will also feel that have tried to escape from the “censorship” existent within the control of cults…so go figure !) Classic ?? huh

Many may now even lay claim, as regard to how truthfully free they all now feel too . To feel free of those old “exclusive” brethren type “chains” . Thought to be exclusive brethren built chains …Brethren could only ever be thought of as being the perpetrator of control…. Because the faithful-throng of ex eb believers also cannot ever allow themselves, to ever begin to consider, that in fact those “chains” of faith , might also in fact be connected to something wider. A bigger “far wider” problem. An intolerance that in general is also intrinsically inherent, to pretty much any form of religion . IE situations trying to help promote a form of human-elitism

Or perhaps let us stop to compare these other two different approaches, that i will now also offer as evidence of what im suggesting may be fact

1.There is this here theist-based site that is named “uncommon descent”. see here http://www.uncommondescent.com/ . They have been found (through my observation/experience) to have sometimes been inclined to want to censor certain people’s ability to freely take part in the ongoing discussion and comment

2. And then in the end it is in fact some of these instances/experiences of constant “censorship” that was finally to be behind the very same reason for the formation of another internet site named “The Skeptical Zone” . See here http://theskepticalzone.com/wp/ . And this here is another link too, to one of their blog posts , which actually describes this problem, and so you can read more about that situation here http://theskepticalzone.com/wp/sample-page/

My point is. I suggest that this type of censorship and cult-like control, is something quite familiar, and so is in fact something pretty much intrinsically inherent to all these kind of religious followings

But. Surely? there should be no real need for any of this kind of situation to actually ever have need to exist. If in fact there was any real decent evidence to support human reason for faith in God . Or these faithful people’s belief in the existence of an eternity

If the belief is in fact based on a form of totally sound good-reasoning. Then why? the need for any form of censorship . The theists? should welcome anyone to decide to ask questions right, like the exclusive brethren have also tried to lay-claim to also-do

So then . Why? do the exclusive brethren (the group of people now presently claiming to be mainstream christian and masquerading as being publicly known-as “Plymouth brethren”, so as to thus try saving themselves of some shame) also only ever agree, to post comment on their own blog, that are thought to be without any instance of comment that might be deemed as coming from a critic

Why dont you go check out their blog here for yourselves. See here https://www.theplymouthbrethren.org/

Try? commenting on there for yourselves. And if your comments are critical. See? for yourselves, how many of these critical comments of-yours, will ever be allowed to be freely made public

Also ask yourselves this question as well too. Do you? really believe that it would be all that-likely that these exclusive brethren folk, wont ever be receiving some comments, that are critical of them ? . So that this idea might then? also be able to help to explain, why, we cannot ever actually see any comments, that are from critics

And so why? have none/few if-any , been allowed to have been made public

Like i said . It seems to me, that more often than not, that religion will always tend to have this streak of intolerance, as something that is intrinsically inherent running through its veins

These people are not raised on a belief that is evidence-based . Their faith still remains to be directly foundered on some old faith holy books . Very little else. IE

1.There is so very little evidence available, so as to help suggest the actual existence of any God that exists within all the many faith beliefs that have been thought-up ,by human minds

2.There is zilch evidence available, so as to help suggest that any form of eternity might actually even exist

3.Therefore faith belief, has always also needed to rely on forms of censorship and thus has also needed to try to maintain forms of separatism (even if it might be only by trying to censor aspects of public information)

Hey and besides lets not also forget this fact either.Even the Catholic Church has too-often been more that happy, for some of their own powers-that-be to have tried hard to censor and maintain control of information regarding issues surrounding information coming via any critic’s of the Catholic cult

For indeed its a all too prevalent common trait ,running right throughout the veins of faith-belief, in general .

We might even have reason to fully expect to find very few instances, where by freedom of speech , is being constantly adopted and promoted as being something highly important

Oh ??? .. So you theists feel like you dont like hearing this . So? what

If it wasnt ? a fact . Then why any need for anyone to even be bothered that care im suggesting this

After all . Actions? will tend to help speak far louder than words . So can we see any evidence that freedom of speech ,is something that is most often freely accepted ,among groups of theists

Anyone (theist) care? to provide us evidence . Or? are they too scared ? that far too-much evidence of theist censorship, is also far too-easily able to be found

You bet ya, it is very easy to find . Why ? … Because it is a factual feature of faithful folk

What else? is there that would help to explain, disgusting divisive reasons why faithful-humans might have found reason , for even the realm of Christianity to also need to get involved so many schisms and disagreements over their faith. So much so, that nowadays Christianity even has also become divided off into so many umpteen dozen little slightly different flavors of the Christian faith. So fearful had they become, of being thought “mere-human” And that there now is thousand of groups with this same feeling of needing to become slightly?separated for some- others  (separate from being mere-men ,separate of any people with no-religion )

Is it because? Christianity is indeed like the white-lamb of God ,that’s thus way also found out to be honestly? overflowing with any real traits of tolerance and freedom of faith

Sure ….. And anyone foolish enough to want to be believing that, might also be someone whom is more than likely as well to also want to have total faith, that pigs might fly too74dc9cb270c1cffe00c990fa6624484b

If freedom were something that was truthfully cherished among these groups of theists. And if  their God, was indeed a figure of a being that was truthfully also thought to be an “all-loving” type God

Then we might also have very little reason, to ever feel any need to promote and uphold religion, or any of these religious beliefs

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
