Muslim cult ‘trafficked woman

Quote :

Muslim cult ‘trafficked woman for a decade, starting when she was 11, forcing her to work for free and subjecting her to emotional abuse’

A young woman who escaped a Muslim cult is now suing the group, claiming she was physically and emotionally abused and made to work without wages for the decade that she was a follower.

Kendra Ross, 26, was just 11 years old when her mother joined the United Nation of Islam (UNOI) in 2002.

For the next 10 years, Ross says that she was sent to various cities throughout the country to work at restaurants owned and operated by the group. After a full day of work, she says she was then expected to go home and do all the cooking and cleaning in the group homes where she lived with other UNOI members. She says she never received a cent for her more than 40,000 hours of labor.

end quote (my bold)

Yet another case (and yet only one of so very many worldwide too.So no great surprise, therefore nothing so unusual as such?) where children are not being offered protection from harm, caused from faith abuses (Children may find protection from, school bullies, physical violence, but not religious tyranny)

Society doesn’t seem to care?. Even worse, religious folk don’t even seem to care about it either?. Few will even blink an eye (simply because its become commonly seen as being quite-acceptable practice)

Sadly

They rather continue to faithfully believe it a matter of religious freedom/ religious liberty.Shrug their shoulder and carry on as if it don’t matter much. Children are continually forced, to need to get caught-up in the cross fire, of their parents cultural faith beliefs. Nothings done to help them, until after the harm has already happened

So sad.

So many people suffer.Because religious folk don’t want to let go of their right to use religious tyranny

Religious “adults” should be totally ashamed of themselves

People constantly use forms of child abuse. To help force children to believe in God

Is there any higher form of evil in this world than this ?

This evil  negative form of freedom of religion, like what regulations help to uphold at present time, allow that no children’s right of religious freedom is actually being upheld .And that this means children will continue to be forced into faith belief through parents and/or parents supervisors use of tyranny

Religious folk, mostly, seem to still see nothing wrong with this situation

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
