No checks or balances

I believe much of the brethren’s woes can be attributed to the ‘one man ministry’ and ‘universal fellowship’ that had no checks or balances ,no accountability and no firewalls to contain damage. In short,a disaster waiting to happen..low hanging fruit ripe for the plucking to wolves in sheeps clothing looking to get rich

end quote

At the end of the day, religion is without checks and balances. In short a disaster waiting to happen.Little accountability, considering that a negative form of religious liberty (IE :freedom of religion) is being passed-off as if its actually a positive form of religious liberty

The problem we face is that many human wont even think about harm happening to other people. Christians are some of the worst at this, most dont begin to care even think about about what harm is being done to other people by cults, unless they consider it might also happen to themselves too. That explain why its mostly ex members of cults that are also those people to become active in trying to change the situation

Religious people, people who say they believe in God, are supposed to be like leading light of our society? .

I believe much of the brethren’s woes can be attributed to the ‘one man ministry’ and ‘universal fellowship’ lie about religious liberty that had no checks or balances ,no accountability and no firewalls to contain damage. In short,a disaster waiting to happen..low hanging fruit ripe for the plucking to wolves in sheeps clothing looking to get rich

But hey, real Christian remain staunchly against even daring to admit to it. They dare not own up to it

Imagine the shame that it might cause ?

Not good for business doing that.Is it?. Christianity is already looking far to much  like a sows ear already ,when most real Christian would still far prefer to dream of it as being like the royal silk purse,of God

So therefore they look to find some scapegoat to pin the blame on. An so any small wee small insignificant group, they come across, like Brethren, will be fine to use in which to focus all blame on.

They don’t bother to concern their thoughts too much in contemplating the fact that there are  quite a large number of groups around whom are all actively involved in causing faith abuse harm. Some cause more harm, some cause less.Meanwhile many the rest of them stand by silently in indifference in regard to harm being cause to other people

Much easier to tackle the low hanging fruit. Isn’t it?.More peaceful for the real Christian peace of mind as well too, to easily feel able to just pass the buck on .  Pin the blame on the low hanging fruit

So Real Christian can absolve themselves of any blame

After all. Real Christian are obviously without blame ?. What with negative religious liberty being peddled-off as if it might constitute positive religious liberty, an all

People burned at the stake. And so on(checks and balance, firewall against harm ?)

But hey, at least if the real Christian is still able to faithfully believe pretend (within their own minds) that negative= positive . Then they still have little need to need to be losing too much sleep over any unsavory thought about that then right?.Everything’s all hunky dory (within faithful minds universally). God can still move, in one of the most mysterious way of all time

For generation they been beating around the bush. Continually trying to pretend like negative liberty = positive

Great huh ?

Likewise the Brethren member is also just as able to pretend like Jame Tayloy jr was a pure man too. Beating around the bush in pretending in might have only been a ambush . No worry’s . Mind found a cunning way to be able to still feel peaceful as can be.

And all of us are forced to suffer because of this.In one way or another. Believer an none believer alike .

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
