Why are atheists so angry?

An interesting subject.I feel that this video does a fairly decent job of explaining. Little doubt plenty of believers may believe that atheists are angry at God. This theory proposes that atheist actually do still believe in a God, and therefore their anger then stems from their preference, that they’d wish a God wouldn’t exist ?

The problem with this theory, is that it cannot help explain reasons why the more secular based countries ,will also have far less evidence of atheist anger too.

1.Most vocally angry atheist are also from highly populated countries dominated by theist, like the USA. Where religion is still extremely dominant

2.Few atheist from NZ are vocally angry, because NZ is been way far more secular based ,for a long time already now. Therefore there is also way less reason for atheist to feel angered, here in NZ. Only the unlucky few, such as some of us people, who’s lives were unlucky to have become tangled up within cults, or faith abuses. Are inclined to be feeling  angry, and therefore also do become vocal about feeling angry

Perhaps people could read back through my blog posts that i made years ago, and conclude that im someone who simply hates God, and even believers .I can see how that conclusion would be easy

However that conclusion wouldn’t bother to take into account (IE: more nuanced approach), or know anything about loads of underlying situations involved in my life, of what i was tasked to have need to be struggling with. A situation of huge struggles, what in large part were created ,for me,by religion and believers promotion of Gods existence

And had the so called “real” Christians cared to step up, generations before now, to help make sure that religious liberty would become more-than just the token bullshit negative  form, of religious liberty, like what it remain as ,for now

There would then be little reason for any angry atheist ?

But real Christians would far prefer to sit back and judge the atheist for being angry ?

They find it far easier to do? (than consider how their own belief might in fact be helping to create atheist anger). And can still manage to bury their heads in the sand, and help soothe their conscience, by acting in other charity-like ways ,in poor countries

Never mind that it might in fact be far more honestly charitable of them, to first get their shit together and attend to fixing the faith abuses, at home first ? (IE:re charity starts at home )

That way ,atheist such as myself, might have then had far better chance, ourselves, to also become way more charitable ourselves as well too? (like what we had always fully intended to try and be like)

But hey. Foundation of membership of Christianity has been built on this immense evil . Trying to get “real” Christian to wake up to it, can feel a bit like trying to drag a dead horse ,uphill?

Specially when dealing with Christians whom were lucky enough to have grown up with support of both parents

People may faithfully believe they were blessed ,by God.

However us atheist, can understand, that those believers were just luckier that what some of us were ?

Had those blind Christian ,been forced to walk a few mile, in another persons shoes, then perhaps they too, might have awoken to the stark reality of life ?

And if in fact a-God does exist. Then this God must also intend that i should have reason ,put in front of me, to continue to help urge me, to become angry?

Christian perhaps should consider this. Like the Catholic church might have done well, to stop and consider the situation with sex abuse

But Christians are not inclined to care to bother ?

Right? (perhaps they feel that they are above stooping to listening to a non believer)

Which of course can also help to explain, why their places of worship are now fast falling into wreck and ruin

If God exist. Cannot help thinking, perhaps he might be feeling angry himself, by now, too?

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
