No foundation, no morals

Quote :

No foundation, no morals

By Tim Jones

There is an intrinsic problem with secular humanism, a clever euphemism for materialism and atheism, that submits that there is no transcendent deity responsible for the creation of the universe, humanity, and morality.  It is the philosophy that posits that man is the measure of all things and that morality is magically derived from one’s self-constructed conscience.  But there is a massive gaping hole in this worldview.  If man is the measure of all things and therefore each individual’s morals are equal to those of each and every other individual, then you have to automatically put an immoral person on the same level as yourself.  It is baked right into the premise of the nonbelieving secular humanist.

end quote

Moral codes, are similar to our building codes or road codes. The blog post on American Thinker , By Tim Jones asserts that without God ,

If man is the measure of all things and therefore each individual’s morals are equal to those of each and every other individual, then you have to automatically put an immoral person on the same level as yourself.

end quote

This is rubbish . Because humans have ways in which to evaluate codes ,often through trial and error. Which is what is recorded ,as actually even having happened too, even within holy books. So you cannot escape this, need, simply by claiming your belief is inspired by God, either. So that also then explains why it is, that we human will now no longer think it moral, for us to stone our children to death, for talking back at their parents

The moral was revaluated, and thereafter deemed to have been immoral

So the act of having holy books, still doesn’t change the problem, that it is mind of man of what is used as the measure of morality

Meanwhile for generations now, well meaning theist have been busily degrading non believers , due to this . They have been actively involved in doing this due to their own ignorance . Because they learned to do this, through being sheeple faithful believers ,whom had swallowed what their local preacher, in church, had been teaching them

Humans do in fact evaluate all kinds of codes. They evaluate building codes, road codes, and also moral codes too

Who would be gullible (stupid?) enough, to pretend , that this would then need to mean, that therefore all codes are thus always as equal as what any other code is ?

Perhaps someone dogmatically hoping like its correct ?

We can measure the practicality of codes. We can do scientific type studies (social science for one instance) and work out what ones work better. What ones cause less harm. And so on

However this is not what the theist want to portray . Mainly because the theist has traditionally been active in trying to demonize the non believers lifestyle (therefore they won’t like to admit to the idea that moral codes can be evaluated)

Next thing, the theist is then wondering why there is so many angry non believers ? .

Science studies are constantly coming up with study data suggesting the believers are less intelligent ,than what non believers are

Go figure ? (any great surprise, really, while theist remain dogmatically intent on demonizing alternative ways of living. As that helps to induce ignorance ?)

But little wonder ? . Lets face it, much of the theist learning, is done within church groups, where faithful folk are indoctrinated with their priests own-ignorant mannerism

So the sheeple people are merely inheriting the mind of the sheeple priest mannerism.

The ignorance is passed on like a disease

In generations passed, us non believers were expected , to shut up and say nothing, when being degraded (by theists). Now that we wont shut up anymore, the theist now considers us paints us as “being militant” atheist

Meanwhile these godly folk go to church, and will be heard to waffle on about how jolly wonderful their Gods love (Church group meme) is , and so on

If their God ever gets hold of them, I wouldn’t be surprised if he cuts their tongues out ?

The amount of suffering that theist, including Christians, have caused unto people, is immense . The suffering caused unto Jesus ,now pales in comparison , when compared to the immense amount of collateral suffering that has been constantly caused unto so many other people, by Christians, ever since the death  of Christ

Imagine the shame , that Jesus would be faced with, should he return ?

Naturally a large number of Christians would try to claim ignorance, as fair reason, for pardoning their ignorant actions .

If God exist. And God created. Then God gave human a brain , for them to use ?

But it take far less of their own energy, to act like sheep , to mindlessly sit in church groups and blindly swallow the rubbish that their local priest is teaching them?

The priest could even be teaching them , to help hide evidence of sex abuse . So as to protect the church pride

That what’s bound to happen, though, once people agree to live life ,by faith

They soon lose ability to question and think, and decipher right from wrong

This explain why the Christian church is in such big trouble today. Is in wreck and ruin . Is fast becoming a church membership of elderly followers, with very few young people

The young people are able to wake up to the ignorant manner (within the church) , and don’t want to be counted among this ignorant manner

The elderly ,don’t care . Like elderly brethren also no longer care either. They allow themselves to shut off and not bother to listen . The same way manner that the Catholic church had also allowed itself to become like too ?

Meanwhile , they console themselves by faithfully believing that it the atheists who are the cause of this church decline

Sheeple do as sheeple does ?

Its hard to be straight up about these things. Specially when talking about matters that concern believers. As believers are often familiar with only hearing things  of what help compliment their lifestyle

The don’t like hearing stuff, of what’s too straight up, and in fact disfavour or condemn their lifestyle

Which of course also help to explain why faith abuses have been able to continue and continue, for many generations ?

Nobody dare to speak out against the evils of brethrenism, either ,when it first began

But hey ,any great wonder ?

There was far too many fragile Church prides at stake of feeling deflated?

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
