Betting on infinity

Cult members will wager with their whole lives . Will go without freedom to be able to enjoy their family relationships, specially so whenever one of their family ends up with being excommunicated  from the cult membership. As that cults dictate will enforce excommunication to happen between family members (even when they claim that they don’t enforce it)

But.This is merely one instance “of loss” of what will have ALREADY occurred to the people involved(due to their wager on infinity)

The cult members (within exclusive brethren cult) are “not allowedfreedom to FULLY celebrate certain aspect of family life within the confines of the cult as well either. These things amount to part of their full loss what they have. They are governed by draconian laws what are agreed to be enforced within the confine of the cults as well too. Stupid draconian laws ,such as

  1. Not being allowed the HUMAN RIGHT to freely celebrate wedding days. They’ll impose laws that make it evil for human to dare “enjoy fun” of marriages, so much, and perhaps specially travel very long distances to especially go celebrate SPECIAL wedding days among family

The cult hierarchy will want to remain as the only main thing seen as being SPECIAL

Thus, to help make this be able to happen, they will then impose draconian laws of what will then act to help spoil anything “else of special interest”

Like family bonds . Bonds of what usually  (normally, ie brethren are not “normal”. Are they?, They are weird and cult like, and members are still gullible enough to agree to follow stupid draconian laws, kind of similar to way like what how sheep will often freely follow any old sheep,of what leads their flock)will be strengthened through enjoyment of fun times spent TOGETHER

Those kind of family bonds are not allowed to grow within confines of cults (they don’t want members create strong bonds among the ranks of what could perhaps have possibility to grow “even stronger” than the bond unto the hierarchy is like )

That kind of family bond is not wanted to happen within confines of cults (therefore the cult members are not allowed to seek for it to ever happen)

To the LOSS OF the members involved

Brethren cult members have lost out on normal earthly experience of fulling enjoying the fun of marriage among members of their family

Even this loss is in fact also one part of their WAGER on infinity

If they were to think about it. And to list all of the things down of what they already went-without (due to draconian cult laws of what they have adhered to )

The list would soon end up being FAIRLY LONG

Chances are, it will end up being all for nothing

The only thing they’ll have achieved , will be to end up missing out on enjoying the fun involved in family experiences . Such as family wedding celebrations

One thing that cult members are deprived of is normal manner of enjoyment

They don’t get to enjoy the normal manner of fun involved in human life

They are forced to miss out on that fun

These losses,  added together all make up a-part of the wager they have been led to enter into

They have already pre-paid for infinity . Even if there is no such thing

To make matters even worse (even worse than being led to become fools among cult memberships).

Fairly good chance there will be no refund either

Perhaps only the hierarchy will ever be the ones, who will have ALREADY gained anything much ($ and fame for instance) from the PROCEEDS of the stupidity ?

How many cult members, will there be, who are even bothered enough to care to ponder that question?

That’s an important question

How many will be equipped with enough SENSE to even think to ponder it ?

Do cult memberships, many of whom (in brethren history) have been known to AGREE to do dumb shit, such as for instance act of setting up extra sewer lines, for Brethren purpose to stop a “cult members excrement” from mixing-in with excrement of outsiders

Actually have any good sense ?

How many cult members are being equipped with the ability to “think outside” the square

Like what most normal people are being equipped with. Meaning that most normal people wont ever be stupid enough, to agree to set up separate sewer lines

Because most normal people are taught how to think outside the square

Cult members are not taught that ability

They have been led to agree to wager on an infinity of what we cannot know about

Reason why most will agree . Come down to believers lack of ability to think outside the square

That lack of ability seem to be a fairly common aspect of faith belief . Even outside of the cults

Generally speaking . Believers are being led to follow pascals wager

Very few of them are even bothered to ponder, the question of whether their wager has been made at any loss unto themselves

That’s not what faithful people are known to do

Most don’t bother to ponder over things much at all. More often than not they’ll just believe, faithfully 100%

There could be (their own) family members caught up within draconian law within cults. Could be any number of human lives lost throughout history caused through faith, such as those human lives lost upon being burned at the stake upon being accused of heresy, or witchcraft or whatever

Few believers will bother to factor this aspect of their faith in, as if it might be a-part of cost of human faith in their wager on infinity

Perhaps most will have completely forgotten all about it all (to extent almost as if no such thing had “ever” even occurred).

As the thought wont even occur?

Its as if faithful people don’t like ability for “critical thought” to develop within faith

For instance

Even among ex members of cults there still seem to be a common pattern of trying to shut down discussion . Trying to deny any critical thought of what might pose faith as being something kind of silly (like, even although it could in fact be silly?)

1.They’ll expect non faithful people to respect that faithful’s right to like religion, to think religion is seriously good, and to be faithful

2. Yet the faithful believer, consider themselves to have no obligation for rights other people who see religion as being stupid and bad . Neither will the faithful bother to respect the right of these other people

(they expect other people to respect the fact that they love their faith. Yet wont CARE TO follow suit themselves, and be prepared to respect the right of peoples “faith” of people who disbelieve said faith belief and of whom might then even have valid reason to hate the faith)

There is no two way street here

They’ll far rather to shut down the voices of all those other people involved. Than care to  share the obligation of  RESPECT  and social participation together

What’s worse

They still wont see absolutely anything wrong with their action in doing it either. You wont see (many of them) them voicing any feeling of  their own concern for the voice of any of the “others” whom have been silenced , either

Why not ?

Perhaps because faith can kind of cauterise a humans sense of empathy toward “others”

When a holy book record acts of violence and sexism and so on. Then perhaps it pays for a faithful members sense of empathy to need to undergo cauterisation

The faithful persons sense of empathy needs to at lease become partly cauterised

So that believers can then continue to still believe that their faith book, might still be word of God  (as opposed to admitting it seem more like being word of man)

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
