The importance of empathy

First step. Human need to become more observant “of others”

For sure

Faith doesn’t tend to help promote that formula?.

For instance, like faith doesn’t generally BOTHER to pass on meme of kind of what might help caution the believer to CARE to observe the “lives of others“, extremely carefully and dutifully first of all, before  concluding that God is involved as an overseer

Does it (well not that often does anyway)

Most people will come to that conclusion, after only considering aspect of their own lives

Little wonder then that there has been so much harm of what’s been allowed to occur, as if it were quite ok ? (IE: because it mainly happen to cause harm unto-others)

Human are can be like that

We ,ex cult member, today, are even now ALSO all part and parcel of this irresponsible selfish way of living existing TOO, in which human have chosen to run their world?

Hell ,we have become so highly focused ONLY upon ourselves and our own requirement in life

That it even mean, we are also unable to avoid war

To help enable ourselves to avoid war. We’d firstly need to become acutely aware of health and well being and stability of groups of “other human” within our world of what we share together

Be concerned about them. So that empathy might therefore have better possibility to arise

Right ?

Because our lack of empathy, also soon enough can equate to – also being an element of our own bad planning ?

Human would do well to hurry to wake up to it

Its such a hugely widespread proiblem. It’s even been influencing our way in which we have been running our jails as well too? . And so much more too right?

So much of our policy, have been built with thought of ONLY our own need, in mind

And with less regard of the lives of others ?

The sad state of our world today attest to this

Even to the extent, that we forgot to consider our own children’s future either. This is the level of our selfishness. We have pilfered resources. Caused pollution as if it was not going to be of any real concern, of our own

Because we live selfishly within ourselves and will make conclusion designed generally around serving purpose of our own experiences (we don’t feel high concern for others). Remain focused on “period of time” involving experiences of our own lives alone.

Therefore there is also been little concern for earths future

Hell, generally speaking humanity has become so focused on their own needs alone. That even catholic priest were able to hold off, for ages and ages, before they’d finally be forced to admit to sex abuse

A fair number of sexually abused, have died off, before they saw justice

But hey

Its not like as if human nature has been guided, to care to think of the life of others ? . So this mean that fuck-all people ,were worried about making sure that a prompt approach might occur ?

Most human

Had constantly “felt unaffected” , themselves

Sad thing, that human cannot have been slow to learn, to think of humanity, more from point of view “as if we are like one” people

We seem to have overlooked the fact that it could also be very beneficial even for ourselves, as well

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
