God is involved

Below is a believer’s, fairly typical, not-usual type comment . Of which they posted genuinely without wanting to help cause ANYONE ANY harm.

Let me be completely clear about that fact, first off. My views, here, are definitely not aimed at being taken as any personal attack

Quote:

as a believer we are to endeavor to live peaceably with all mankind. So in order to honour my family and the brethren I wasn’t about to cause a scene. I didn’t need to because they saw my respect and actually invited me forward to the side of the grave and I took it on myself to pray.
I am sorry if you and others have had only negative experiences and trust and pray that God will shine through it all and reveal His everlasting love

end quote

I myself would surely love to feel I can have this same kind of faith

And

With all respect to the person involved in making the particular comment. Specially this person right now too, at this moment of time, a sad time, a time when we also do “share” the SAME sense of their feeling of great loss too, of not being able allowed to share life with our parents . Due to cult issues

Lets be straight up

Its a huge loss. A huge ongoing injustice to so many  still as well (which is the worst part)

Its all very fine, that people are  “expressing” themselves with busily making the  faith claim that a-God might in fact be actively involved ,somewhere in some way.

But then will in affect, amount to being a-false hope (if not?)

And besides, wouldn’t it also STILL remain immoral too, for people to pretend as if a-God might be involved , unless one can also see some way, in which to be able to feel fairly near 100 % sure, that a-God is in fact ACTUALLY involved in ACTING any kind of measurable way?

That question, should remain of importance ?

Or ,otherwise perhaps that might only help to further perpetuate the impasse of this sad sorry situation?

Upholding an impasse

Not wanting to sound as if like i might just be another angry atheist “speaking out of turn here“, or something .

I don’t

However, surely it MATTERS  a whole lot?. Surely its actually an important factor, for even the believers to also spend a little of their own time, contemplating such question as well too ?

I feel ,that if in fact a-God would exist. Then chances are, that if this God were a decent kind caring Go0d God, then naturally it follow on from that, that this God would STILL also wish for his/her follower, to continue to CARE  to still reconsider all angle of their faith?. In case they were wrong

Similar to like how science will also continue to reconsider things, as well . So that things wouldn’t necessarily remain status quo, merely due to existing tradition ?

Which of course then mean, that believers would be expected to “think about things in way of which” so as to not allow that their faith, would be helping to perpetuate more harm than what it does good

Right?

I have some doubt that a-God’s own object in their existence, might ever make it their own top priority , that faith would matter over an above anything else?

Surely not ?

Unless perhaps it could be so that God could ever be focussed, MOST OF ALL, on trying to find way what manage to serve the-God’s own ego ?

Which is pretty much what religion has done. Turned image of God, into a certain type of ego-hungry being, of what FEELS this CRAVING NEED  to have need to be worship and brown-nosed , ABOVE ANYTHING ELSE and even if it be at any cost

Think about it ?

Something seems completely wrong here?. Something isn’t adding up here?.

Does it?

We might just as well say (judging by population  of believer, still being far above non believer), that in AFFECT almost everyone’s been dwelling on their idea (faith or whatever) that God is in fact actively involved

But so then meanwhile

Naturally it also follow-on from that

That in fact less people are also ever involved in even questioning whether it can in fact ever be actually evidenced to be correct

Why not?

Because of reason that religion has allowed its ranks to be OVERCOME with fear

They stop questioning. Because they feel overcome with fear (this of course SADLY doesn’t fair well, either, for children of future generations, to come)

Fear of even ever caring to care about others  (this fact also helps explain how come their can  ever be ,such a huge lack of empathy swilling around religious circles?. Such as like with cults. Or even so far as the Catholiuc Church denial of sex abuse, as well TOO. Or even so far as the many Christian acts of extreme (feeling of) indifference , what they harbour passivly toward other people, the ones  tasked with EXTREMELY UNFAIR need to be caught up within harm of other groups of what are unlike what their own faith group may feel like for themselves . In other words, their own indifference is directly connected to their own feeling of lack of empathy toward others)

Whenever people, AND WHEREVER stop to care  TO EVEN THINK about how their own practices , of what might be affecting others

Then any  hope for morality to win, will also go out the window too?

And of course this is TOO OFTEN the type of world we live within today. A world where we would even struggle to avoid wars ? (Because, even our leaders have failed in regard of their own need for empathy toward other people as well too?. Chances are, that Believers are not been acting as the best role model, though either?. What has gone an happen to the original idea of being like a moon beam for Jesus then?)

What happened?

All comes back to our world being overflowing WITH SHEEP  who’d fear rather than to even dare question?

This is UTIMATE evil of what has been WRONGFULLY constantly promoted

As if it were EVER moral ?

As if it were EVER going to amount to good ?

We need to wake up FAST?

Its ALREADY become way too late in the day,  already NOW?. Our world is sitting right on the edge of  immense suffering, suffering of like what we human, cannot begin to even imagine

If our world were to cause extreme harm to many people, due to AFFECTS  of certain aspect of believers faith

It would be morally wrong to the MAXIMUM  (or full extreme, considering the situation, with regard of believers belief)

It would STILL remain to be morally wrong

Even if there were no such place ,as an eternity? .

Still wrong. Still goes down in history, of planet earth, as being wrong

There is no way of ever avoiding that?

Even if , there would ALSO be no justice EVER served (to any of those whom had been forced to suffer. (Many in extreme manners), or punishment of theist either , all of whom had in fact been active in helping to perpetually promote the idea

But no less than being equivalent of

Than being similar to like people are like when involved in CAUSING manslaughter, whom would have ALSO help caused extreme harm, while CRAVING to find some way FOR THEMSELVES , to be able to “FEEL LIKE”  as if perhaps they might be able , to live forevermore themselves

This is still something highly immoral ?

Or not ?

If a God even does exist. I still feel as if , i can feel fairly near 100% sure, that a “kind most loving caring” type God

Would obviously, surely STILL never EVER  have reason to wish for “the situation” at hand, to EVER end up being like this way that it is ?

A God who can create a whole universe. Can obviously design human to work out,  so they don’t fail ?. Or if not, would STILL at least remain totally understanding, of us humans faults, in knowledge that obviously there was still some kind of slight fault , within DESIGN process

Or not ?

After all. Who design the Devil anyways? (Unless human can also be held responsible for acts of naughty snakes, that were already pre-existing anyways in our world, and of what had been created to exist through no fault of the human themselves either, of what had also been DESIGNED TO EXIST  by someone else?. For instance, all what were originally created God )

Religion has been turned into the “graven image”  (hasnt it?)of like the same kind of thing what certain scripture, depict God warning human against ever worshipping ?

I figure it could even very well be correct

People have need to let go of their fear of God ?(unless he’s actually a nasty being who’s extremely vindictive, and the kind of being who’ll severely lack empathy and as such will punish others, for simply being imperfect and so as such then also falling for other pre-existing fault (like what the snake in Genesis is like)

Stop being so fearful

This fear, is been to a extremely highly unreasonable  level (which of course also then helps explain, reason why for, the anti education widespread issue too,in religious circle. It OBVIOUSLY helps , to stem peoples ability “to reason” and rationalize to their full potential?)

Fear will stop human from thinking things through (likewise with both ex eb,and eb as well too)

Saying that human has been busily working in our world (considering the long length list of extreme suffering of what has SLOWLY unfolded, throughout MANY generation, starting even further back from times when stoning our children, or worse. Was once thought of as moral

Is to be

  1. Involved in helping to suggest , that perhaps God is useless, at designing processes of what wouldn’t have reason to CAUSE any other being any harm . In short, such belief tend to diminish the level of power of what God would have available
  2.  Secondly , it also SEVERELY lacks thought of empathy

As an atheist humanist. I cannot help but feel it would be my duty, to warn , believers about this

Even from the point of view as a fellow human who cares

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
