The value of offence | qualiasoup & theramintrees [cc]

I have a feeling, that perhaps a fair number of Ex ebs might struggle with ideas expressed within this video.

These ideas will quite naturally “feel foreign-as hell” to minds of ex member of high control groups. Mainly because of reason how its also not an idea of like what were “ever celebrated” ,by cult members either, like back within the cult where they were all originally living existing before hand previously

So for ex cult member its pretty much like learning a whole “new foreign culture”. One what you’ll likely have only ever have had very little previous experience of before

Take awhile to “feel ok” to see and hear how there are plenty of people within this world with ideas what you’ll likely disagree with. Sometimes perhaps even totally disagree with.Sometimes perhaps even “staunchly” disagree with too

That’s ok

That’s actually even more healthy and normal

Human really have no real need to be like sheep. It happen through human acts of “flocking-up” , somewhat similar to like how sheep will react

Before long ,they’ll have invented some secret ‘flock hand shake” that any law abiding decent “forum flock member” should surely all need to have “down-pat” …. Lest they be to face “scorn of the flock”

Same old shit. Different ball game all over again

Makes you wonder?

Doesn’t it

Will human ever grow up and begin to drop their tribalism?

Nobodies silly enough to think it will ever happen easily .It wont

It’ll will be like the hardest highest mountain what human will face

People would need to make determined effort .Would first have to “want it”

It will require great patience and depth of kindness, and above all else “an emotional understanding” of one and “other”. Mainly due to reason because of how not all situation will be same, now (between ex members)

As that’s just how it what happens (when people will have gone their own separate ways for some time ,in existence LIFE, before reuniting )

Its actually normal

It is?

Yep

Its about life

And yet

Ex members of “high control” group trait “naturally” still crave for some strict highly defined stiff neck sense of regular

A little more like “old times” again . Complete with flock “concern meetings” on Mondays perhaps, so as to bring up issues of “forum-Brethren rule breaking” concern ….. tut tut tutty tut tut(ohhhhhhh …naughty naughty… im telling )

Or else life may feel too unfamiliar and unsettling

Silly thing how human squabble about shit, and don’t seem happy unless they can make life as awkward and “legalistic” as is possible, while overlooking the humanity they CLOSELY share (if you didn’t find a way see the funny side of this idiocy, you’d lose-it & break down and cry?)

I figure

Time is fast approaching, when perhaps human of who’ll disagree, wont survive well at all for very much longer here on planet earth, unless they can at least accept idea to “still try” to ALL work closer together

This issues is widespread and far reaching

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
