Complex Trauma: Understanding and Treatment

Complex Trauma: Understanding and Treatment

Seems to me. Much of this whole video, could almost seem to be as if it might have perhaps been “purposely written” to specially help to describe, exclusive Brethren ways of traumatizing people

As if it wasn’t already enough trauma , to have need to observe a number of our family members, one by one (happening over a number of year) being shunned and disowned, and excommunicated to then need to be treated as if they’d died . To even see our own sibling attempt their own suicide, climb a tree to try hanging themselves. To see one sister and brother in law of ours, bury their child when aged only 4 1/2 , without any support of even one grandparent (due to grandparents all remaining as eb cult member) , after them being told by Brethren, that it were happening (the child’s early death) that the son died, due to punishment from God , for their act of merely choosing to leave the cult-membership

Bruce Hales Almighty Brethren  review wrecker, decide it wasn’t yet quite enough trauma?

Decide to fool everyone, into believing Brethren false claim to be truly sorry for past harms cause (within Brethren “putting on the Ritz” so called review, callously calculated cunning cruel  PR stunt.) See info here.

When Hales became the ‘Man of God’ he instituted a ‘Review’ in 2003 so that particularly people whose relatives had been put out during the harsh period under Symington could contact them and invite them to return. Although many assemblies overturned previous judgements, and many family reunions took place, it had little impact in the long term as it simply reopened old scars, although some contacts were quietly maintained

end quote (my bold)

And attempt to partake in doing even more manipulation practices, of what then causes another of our sibling, to ALSO then try to attempt their own suicide too, themselves as well

Just for good measure

Aye Bruce Hales?

Nothing like helping to traumatize people to maximum , Bruce?

But it were GREED  what has gotten the better of  NEAR-ALL Brethren SENSE of knowing “right from wrong”. And made their personality become void of NATURAL compassion and empathy?

So void of NATURAL decency, compassion and empathy . That this level of nastiness would have happened, over the years TOO, see here

Poor things

Human can have miles of money, so as to satisfy their own greed.

Yet still be extremely poor of heart

How sad

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
