What Cults Tell Us About Ourselves

Leaving the cult is seen as being like, one major thing, that a-God would never ever forgive.

Sounds familiar ?

Exclusive Brethren are stupid enough to also think the same way too. They live exist within confines of a cult what’ll conspire to cover up sex abuses, happily fellowship among people who’d even try to clean up accident scene too, where alcohol had been used, and there were passenger what had died as illegal outcome of drink-driving

Those folk are still stupid enough to believe that leaving this socially backward place behind, must surely be like something what’s “unforgivable”

They would?

Their minds are stunted. They exist within a type of time-warp . Mentality block. Cult-state of mindlessness

Closed mindedness can render a human blind toward new information. Everyone of us can still be prone to react this way still too?. Even science can sometimes also fall into the same style trap as well too

But a cult existence, this style of living existence can render a human to be even more prone to this style of existence

1. While outsiders are able to remain free to have right to continue to discuss and debate and even-question issues, and belief . And so on

2. Meanwhile cult member are confined within the cult state of ignorance. So closely confined and tightly-controlled in fact, that they’ll not even be allowed to question cult-rules, such as cult-rule against human right to celebrate a family members marriage, or birthday. And so on

Human are wired to adopt group-think

Come from our tribal instinct ?

Human are so pre-wired to this way of living existence, they’ll even tend to totally despise any human being, who might dare to act/think differently than how  “others” do

Human are so tribal-minded

I myself had noticed how this struggle continued even among ex eb forum groups too. Group think remained so strong, it were against the idea of any ex eb being able to freely express  right of their own thoughts/beliefs. As you could easily be ridiculed. Disowned. Be despised, and at times perhaps even be hated

Human generally don’t like to learn to “celebrate” our diversity

Do we?

Human far prefer to feel comfortable to think that everyone else around about us, might also think-alike and act-alike and live-alike , exactly the same way like what we happen to do ourselves

We feel uncomfortable, if we sense that others are living differently. Even thinking differently

We fear it. Fear we might have fallen outside of ,boundary of “our own group”

Perhaps because of tribal instinct . The old way of seeing ourselves. The human shortsightedness, in our inability to noticed how interconnected we actually all remain (even in spite of any of our differences)

We easily overlook that human “connection”, that connection what never ever ceases to exist anyway, no matter what our own personal differences might be

We still ALL REMAIN HUMAN

Cults are a waste of life?. Human do not separate themselves from connection with other peoples acts who’ll choose to do things that are wrong, SIMPLY by shutting themselves away, within boundary of some tight-knit tribal like group

Do we?

No . It doesn’t work

For instance, Brethren-members have still not been able to totally disconnect themselves, from involvement in Brethren-members act to cover up sex abuses of which Brethren hierarchy had chosen to still take part in

Anymore than what they might otherwise also have been able to have done, had they instead chosen to not remain specific member of the Brethren

And besides, perhaps Brethren cult-action, has in fact served to help directly connect themselves “more closely” to these immoral act partaken by their co-member . Via direct cult-association

Correct?

If anything, Brethren choice to remained a member of their cult-association

Has in affect, served to help connect all of themselves, more directly, to immoral act of co cult-association member choices, who’d chosen to try and cover up sex abuse

For instance

Us ex Brethren cult-associate , are thankfully further far removed, from associate-practice , of cult associate hierarchy who’d chosen to conspire to cover up sex abuses https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/98220593/potential-witness-in-exclusive-brethren-sex-abuse-case-paid-to-remain-silent

We ex member, are now less connected to these immoral act ?

In this sense , we ex member are all far better off

Not that mindless Brethren will have enough ability to understand ?

They are so lost. And mindless. Hell’ they can no longer even sense that there would be something very wrong, with a highly organized group-act of trying to cover up criminal act, involved in a road accident https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12015112

So mindless, that these thought, would not even occur to them

They wouldn’t think anything were wrong with their involvement in doing it

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
