Sadhguru’s Most Brilliant Answers To Questions on GOD and Religion!

That’s why religion fails. Isn’t it. Religion removes the chance for human to continue to learn and seek more knowledge, and then still be able to change their previous ideas

The religion made the claim that their faith belief, was inspired by a-God. So therefore, how can they allow for the beliefs, to ever alter and change?

The claim of scripture (ministry)being “the” inspired “word of God”. Is ego based claim?.

I suspect that faith groups will fall into the trap of being foolish enough to make these claim, basically because of greed, being that they’ll be hoping to corner the market, so as to then also gain highest population of congregation members.

Because membership= power= wealth

I doubt that Jesus would have wanted to claim that his own ideas, were actually “the word of God”. Or even that “Christianity ” was going to be the “only way” to salvation

That would have all come about due to greed

Come about because there are always people who’d want to gain power over the population

Fear of hell and eternal damnation and so forth, was a perfect tool so as to weaken the human ability to “use their common sense

Because cease to use common sense. Even in cults, today, we also note how easily human-minds can be overcome ,and be manipulated and controlled, by fear

Anyone  simple by using a common sense approach, could soon enough figure out that a mean nasty God who is said to be going to punish and torture human for an eternity, obviously then isn’t a-God of what would ever be morally worthwhile worshiping

This type of God would be nothing short of a bully

A nasty God. A evil vengeful God.

Add to that, a God what wont allow non Christian to gain salvation, is therefore also a terribly jealous God as well too

Why would anyone ever agree to worship this kind of being?

It makes no good sense

Not unless self preservation is considered as being number-one thing on the list

Kind of similar to how self preservation can become number one thing on the list, for some human being, living under the tyranny rule of dictators still today too

Those kind of people, will gladly bow down and worship the evil bully dictator

So as in doing so, they’ll be able to find some way to save their own skin

In other words

Their reason is based entirely on selfish thought of self preservation alone

They’ll still agree to worship this being, no matter how low their morals may be

We should feel pity for these kind of human being

These type of human, are bound to become the breeding stock, for cult members who’ll evolve to become so void of empathy and compassion, that they’ll even feel comfortable to disown their own children

It was bound to happen

Due to the evil, of worshiping a evil God who’s been depicted as being a real nasty bully

That kind of faith is like the breeding stock of evil-minded human who’ll NATURALLY  evolve to also be be seriously lacking in TRUE empathy and compassion

Its bound to have happened

Christian ought to feel ashamed of themselves

Jesus wanted to free human from bond of religious tyranny

Greedy minded Christian, were still intent on retaining their grasp of power

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
