Don’t tar everyone with the same brush

If anyone dare to point out how useless Christendom is become, at taking action against faith abuse

To help bolster the Christian ego

The reaction usually is “oh don’t go and tar all Christian with the same brush”

And yet, this is not the intention of the messenger

Its not.

For instance. We could put this another way, for interests sake, we might declare, most men do not beat up their wives. However, there are still far to many men who’ll still beat up their wives and children. So men should still do far more, to take action against it happening

Should someone say “men are not doing as much as they should be, to act against violence against women

This wouldn’t be anything about anyone “trying to tar all men with the same brush”, as if someone were attempting to say “all men are violent”

Would it ?

No… of course not

Nobody is trying to tar all men as the same

Its mainly about doing the justice of caring to point out, how men could  ALL still be taking a far more active roll, themselves, in helping to act against violence still happening against women

This has absolutely nothing to do with anyone attempting to be tarring all men, as violent

Its not about that

Its more about men being more prepared to be facing up to a problem what still remain far to prevalent

To point out that generally speaking, Christendom is useless at taking action against faith abuse

Also has absolutely nothing to do with anyone of us trying to tar all Christian with the same brush

Has nothing to do with that

Christian would do well to see this. To quit with the usual ego-stroking “reaction”

Far better they would simply agree to face up to the fact of the matter

Generally speaking , its quite true to say, Christendom is been acting as an embarrassment unto itself

Not been anywhere near as helpful is might have been

  1. As an organization, Christendom is hopeless at organizing to help see that faith abuses would finally cease

2. Meanwhile. As an organization, Christendom is also often usually “far more organized” at acting so as to help see that “faith abuses” would have way to continue perpetually generation after generation.Without hope of ever ceasing

Considering how Jesus is also supposed to be directly linked to this outcome?

Crazy to think how many Christian can feel quite comfortable to continue to live with this situation, the way it is

The old

“Don’t tar everyone with the same brush”

Is sophistry . The kind of antic of like what Brethren would also attempt to use, themselves too, as a way of escaping their own need to face up to their own problems as well

Brethren might say “oh don’t tar all Brethren with the same brush” whaaaaaa boo hoo

And yet.Nobodies interested in trying to do any such thing

We know there are Brethren who will act far more truthfully Christian-like than what some others will. Even so, generally speaking Brethren are all a shame unto themselves. Due to the fact that they could have all chosen to take a far stronger stand against the tyranny and faith abuse that have evolved, than what they have

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
