An Expert Explains Cognitive Dissonance (with Professor Jonas Kaplan)

Sounds like as if they could be directly describing the brethren folk, doesn’t it?

With regard of the cognitive dissonance . Brethren are well aware of how there is really no such thing as an “unbroken line of wonderfulness” within the Brethren group. They secretly do know this. They are secretly well aware of it

They secretly sense that Brethren group has been harboring all manner extreme evilness. People who’ll even go right out of their way to cover up sex abuses

Conspiring to cover up

Brethren are secretly well aware that this practice is totally abhorrent . Highly disgusting . As well as extremely illegal

Brethren know this

Brethren understand this. Secretly their conscience is telling them that a number of things have OBVIOUSLY been very wrong among the Brethren, for a long long time.

Which also mean,

Their original idea of separation from evil is flawed

But even so, this “belief” of the “unbroken line of wonderfulness among Brethren”, is always been such a lovely jubbly glorious cherished belief among the Brethren.

Isn’t it?

The belief (which has required FAITH) has always had such a “wonderful joyful ring” to it ,unto the ear’s of the Brethren folk

Its become to be like a “glorious cuddly”-rug that they’ll all so enjoy to “cuddle-up to”, and try to continue to believe

They are addicted to that belief

Aren’t they?

Soothing feeling it can help to offer Brethren folk, is somewhat similar in affect to being like “Brethren style crack cocaine

Offers such a “buzz” for simple minded Brethren bogan

So even although they know that its bullshit. They’ll still be inclined to try and “cling on” to these kind of faith beliefs that can then still help to deliver them these warm fuzzy feeling “Brethren-buzz”

Those warm fuzzy feeling are so addictive ?

Yeah  nah

And then of course the Brethren hierarchy, such as Bruce review wrecker Hales & co , are also become very well aware too, of the stress that cognitive dissonance, can cause to people.

So therefore this is also explains reason for why the Brethren hierarchy will have needed to instruct and warn cult member’s to “stay away from” accessing “outside” information from news media (so their shaky Brethren beliefs would therefore not ever need to feel challenged at all. So beliefs could then continue to remain to feeling safe and sound) . It explains why they’ll not want Brethren venturing out onto ex Brethren forum and so on

Poor Brethren

They still have need to stay “cooped up” within safe confine of their cult compound …… almost 24/7

Lest “their conscience” might be shaken and aroused

Cant have the Brethren’s conscience being aroused can we?

Brethren cult needs member who’ll all be equipped with mentality of, no conscience= no compassion= no empathy for ex members

This is generally always been the basics of Brethrenism 101

And poor Brucie. Well he’s forever chasing his own tail while trying to keep his cover up process, intact . That job never ever gets any easier either?

The poor fella

He’s forever needing to plug-up holes in the Brethren facade. Isn’t he?. Almost like as if Brucie were born to be the “Brethren equivalent” of Han’s Brinker

These days Bruce is faced with treading a fine line too?. As he’ll need to be very very careful of his ways of dealing with Brethren folk. Specially with regard of the Brethren youth

Us ex eb, will act like watch dogs. We watch . We try to help make sure that the old style Brethren, wont have room to re-surface and continue

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
