The next outbreak? We’re not ready | Bill Gates

One of the biggest problems for humanity is this.

Even today, the largest number of human are still living their lives as if they expect that there’d be a “sky daddy” who’s looking down from above, who’s  “there to be watching out” for human’s future. Who’s “there to take care of matters“,for the human, whenever the shit hit the fan big time

Even today. Still “largest number of human population”,are living their lives, irresponsibly, as if they’d not need to be responsible for everything

Many times, they’ll have been taught to “leave concern for the future” up to God

They’ll bumble along. Feel lost. Whenever the shit finally hit the fan,and they’d be reminded how they’d forgotten to be properly prepared

These situation “are warnings”

They are

Our universe is been dropping “these warnings” on us-human. Sadly, the highest number of human, still remain convinced that there’d be nothing to need to worry themselves about

Most have been carefully trained and taught how to “live their life day by day”

There’s some very valid reason for why human ought to be feeling anxious (specially with regards to “the future”)

But,all to often all those anxiety are constantly being buried under “the faith in God” or else being soothed away by application of “mindfulness meditation”, and so on

All those different forms of meditations, have all been misused through over-use . Similar ways to like how antibiotic have also been over prescribed as if they were “like a quick-easy-fix for every situation”. And therefore been misused

Human would far rather to find some quick easy-fix way “to quickly” sweep all their anxiety away under the rug. Its far easier to do things that way, rather than what it would otherwise be like, for human to need to begin the more tedious task “to plan” toward the long term approach

Human are inclined to be lazy (or greedy,or both)

Human would “far rather to” convince themselves, that this kind of approach (IE: any approach that holds great-concern for the future), would then be like the-human were now trying to act, “like they were God”

That’s what would often be said about it

Wouldn’t it?

IE: “now you are trying to act as if you would be God”

The idea that “there is a god who watches-out over the human”. Is been used like a ticket for the human to then be able to act childishly irresponsible

It allows human to leave the-thoughts of the future” up to God to take care of

Its the master-plan (of what so happens, also really really “sits well” with capitalism too.. Sweet-as aye?. Wooo hoooo )

Ticket : to act-pious and also “get wealthy” , all at once

Allowing the-human to then claim the freedom to do whatever they’d feel like (of which therefore obviously doesn’t have need to include concern for the distant future. Being that the-God has been “roped into the job” of being thought to be the one who’s considered “ultimately responsible” for taking care of “distant future planning”, for the human)

And in this way, even the believer, can also then find a easy way in which to be able to rid-themselves of “this” pesky responsibility

And,no matter whatever happens

They can always claim

“It were due to the will of God”

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
