What’s An Empath REALLY & How To Thrive As A Sensitive Person

Practical help, of late, is now been FINALLY helping me heal old wounds. It no longer matters, to me, that i were born within a cult. Practical help is whats been helping to empower me. Sort of acting as an adopted family (“finally now have some back-up,in reality, first time in my whole life”). Made a huge difference.

Spent decades, of my life, trying to explain to educated health profession with university degree, why pills are not ALWAYS the answer. Trying to get through to them, that advice and guidance, was likely a far more worthwhile better approach. (hello? anybody home, i were born into a cult, “OBVIOUSLYABSOLUTELY no family no back up?. Hello?.. hello?, the answer is SITTING right-there in front of their own eyes, hell they are nearly been tripping right over “this obvious answer”, all these many years past. Use a WEE bit more intuition, and hell they might not even have needed me to be constantly bitching-on, at them, about what were ALWAYS blatantly obvious)

Ex cult member, are to often forced to look for some form of advice and guidance back within similar “unhealthy” religious setting, similar to like unhealthy-ones like what they escaped. Sad state of this situation is ludicrous

Been frustrating

Felt rather like i might just have well been busily trying to explain, to a concrete wall, about how its been made of concrete?. Similar style “blank” non-response , is likely anyway

Haaaa

Been ripped of and lost so much during time of this journey. Broke my heart many times over, as well too, if i’m to be openly honest about it. Nothing to be gained from me pretending like it were different than its been

But never mind

Shit happens

What wont kill us can help to make us stronger. That there is even a silver lining, in itself . As perhaps you’ll become better equipped to be able to be of more help, to others

And anyway, things could have still been far worse, like what lives and struggle that so many other people, deal with on a day to day basis,no quick escape in war torn countries? . They need to forced to leave their homelands to figure out some way to resettle and survive. And few people wherever they’ll try to resettle, will be able to have a clue to understand explanation for their ongoing “frustration and anger” whats expressed. They wont. Simply cannot imagine the full extent of “horrific life experiences” of what they will have been FORCED to endure …. Yeah. I still know how i’m actually a very very extremely lucky person

I am

We ex eb, are in fact lucky people , we are , as the interesting thing is this that ALL OF US  , also happen to know , a little wee bit about it ourselves too, about what i can “feel like”, to be the kind of people, of OUR WORLD, of whom can be the ones who are too “easily misunderstood

Correct?

Therefore i still wouldn’t want to change a thing of my past either. I’m feeling thankful. Some people might say we are  been “blessed”. But anyway, i can at least be someone to say this, i’ve learned something from experiencing all of it. For that i’m thankful

Flip side of our own experiences, is perhaps that we may now gain a little more “intuitive” better understanding, ourselves, of the likely kind of totally horrific lives of others, all those people who have experience struggles and extreme pain and suffering in CONSTANTLY war torn countries, all of what “naturally” help to make our own struggle, pale in comparison

While its true to say, we ex cult member have lost lots. We still have plenty enough left, to be thankful for. And once we can stabilize our own lives good enough, we can then set about ways of trying to be of more assistance, to other people, who’d be far less lucky than ourselves

And we would all have learned why this should need to be happening

Sad thing, that broken human being, are not really in any great-condition, in which to be able to be of any real “great measure” of help, to others far less lucky than themselves. Unless they can find some way,to heal themselves, properly, first

Sad thing, that even in year 2019, all our governments, still cannot seem to “see or understand” this

About ExEB

I'm a agnostic/atheist . Interested in learning more about science. I also am an "ex-member" of a group most publicly known within modern times, as the Exclusive Brethren. Whom are an off-shoot of the original Plymouth Brethren group. I'd say it likely my personality could possibly be described as quirky. You know ,as in being , unconventional , unorthodox , unusual, off-centre, strange, bizarre, weird, peculiar, odd, freakish, outlandish, offbeat, out of the ordinary, bohemian, alternative, zany I'm sure iv'e been classed as "crazy" . Many times But then, being born into a group like the exclusive brethren. Doesn't lend itself ? to tend to produce things considered as being "very normal" .Does it I escaped the Exclusive Brethren cult as a 15 year old teenager. Even since that time iv'e been trying to adjust to living life outside the cult. With much of my life being lived within the genre of "wild colonial boy" style. In the general sense of a church-rebel picking and choosing from role models who appeared within-life along the way. But as the exclusive brethren cult had traditionally maintained a general church-rule , of need to shun and totally excommunicate any ex member of their group.Treating such people as if they were dead. Thus this situation developed more to do with my need of following traditionally enforced church-rule , as apposed to it being so much about "life-choices". Certain emotional experiences, and parts of life in general, have led to me adopting a sense of low self esteem. Which is a situation i still deal with from time to time. Through my ongoing interest in science. I find i am able to gather more information to help me better understand my situation. Much about life for me, has often seemed like a massive puzzle. With many missing pieces.
